now i actually have a pretty bad drop of acceleration in the 3K-4.5K rpm range after installing this....can anyone gimme any idea of what might be the problem???Originally posted by vinoob View Postbring on the video...so tht we too can hear ur beast grunge
...
even with that problem the bike reached 126 in the speedo easily with sitting straight

the choking issue doesnt comes as a trouble once after crossing the 5K rpm mark!! so when ripping the bike it doesnt has a problem!!

I wanted high beam in place of fog lampOriginally posted by kinshuk.arya View Posti meant is the spread of the fog lamp good enough to make a high beam??
. OEM fog lamp aka drive lamp was just sho, no use, spreading wide. I needed a low-positioned long beam.

Hello friends. Wish you all a very Happy Diwali.Originally posted by kinshuk.arya View Postthose bulbs are available in all the spare part shop.... their price range from 230rs(for chinese made) to 750rs per bulb for (Osram Night Breaker)
please suggest, which brand is the best Phillips or Osram as white head light bulb for FZ.
I would also like to know from experts, which brand of engine oil is the best?
Yamaha sells Ordinary, semi-synthetic & fully-synthetic. What according to you is the best for this machine? Or do you suggest some other brand?
Thanks.

osram's nightbreaker 50/55W is considered to be the best for FZ it is not completely white but slightly white with a blue tinge...Originally posted by FuZZy Logic View PostHello friends. Wish you all a very Happy Diwali.

the oil which yamaha uses is of Motul specially packed as Yamalube... FS or sully synthetic is considered to be the best but is usually recommended after at least 5-6k of usage of the bike... the FS costs somewhere around 800rs and has an engine oil life of about 3.5k-4k km.... there are many good brands.... Motul, petronas, you can also try castrol power 1 racing... DO NOT use fs from Veedol.....Timon: Orange Yamaha FZ16 2009

Hey guys back again after a bit ... Having a rough old time with my ride as the air leakage problems are yet to be sorted ... been 4 months now and i've tried everything ... countless trips to the SVC have been of no use as even they are scratching their heads wondering what could be wrong ...
,
I think my only option now would be to put a tube in and lose the tubeless advantage , but in my current situation i don't see the advantage as the bike n me are grounded as the air falls every day now to almost '0' ...
I do remember tyre sealants being discussed , anyone tried it ??? who can give me an idea about their effectiveness ?
Other than this one issue , the bike rides like a beauty , whenever i do fill-up and manage to go out , it just flies man ... and that is the one reason i'm getting depressed with this thing .People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com
