There is a Motul dealer in BTM Layout, opp. Gangotri bar. Mamatha Auto.

They are authrized dealers of Motul, got their address from Motul.

Bought 10w50 semi-synth from them last week.

Guys what do u say, need expert opinions.

I doubt it is a battery problem... Coz your battery is able to crank the starter motor. Problem may be bigger, please check in your locality if you have any other svc where you can get it checked. Also do check the terminals of the battery, i had the same issue of my bike stalling completely and not starting at all. If you have AMCO battery then the probability is high of excessive carbon deposit on the terminals (lookout for green colour deposit...).

Get a second opinion from a good mech. Go to a good battery shop. Plonk in a good maintenance free battery and forget it . You get buy back for old battery too.

          • what i recommend is to first check for carbon deposits use WD40 or Zorrik on the battery terminals to get rid of any carbon formation on them after that get the battery recharged fully and then check it if it is still giving problem check the water levels in the battery. apart from that what i think is there could be a loose connection in the charging circuit somewhere which is not allowing the battery to charge properly....

                    • Any idea?

And guys i find the bike vibrating more @ exactly 4.5k rpm... its like i feel a sudden drag at dat rpm... it reduces at arounf 5k again... Any idea bout this

Also lately i hear a mild whistle like sound wen the bike is on the go... not sure if its cos of the front fins below the fuel tank... but i don think the fins can cos those sounds at as less as 30kmph... Can it be any friction in any part?

PS: got ma 1st service done 10 days back...
