        Are they a direct fit ? silly question , still by the looks i had the doubt ... I was actually looking for the visor (tiny windscreen) fitting clamp/bracket , will be going to orion tomorrow to see if i can get it ...

          Yup....i think they are a direct fit except that they are smoke black....
          coz i had seen a guy in the SVC getting those fitted onto his black FZ....

          He too was going for the full black FZ....man it was looking gooooood....
          ohhh did i forget to mention that he had colured his rims and calipers
          and shockers and handlebar in gold.......

            OK thats good to hear , will check that out too ... gold handlebars might be a bit over the top for me , plus mine is a lava red fz

                my indicators are suffering from what i think is a loose connection on the switch or somewhere nearby can anybody tell me how to fix them or open them at least... and is it possible to open them by the tool kit given by the company or do we need some extra tools??

                  @above: what kind of problem? I am also getting a slight problem lately with the left turn signal - when i flip the switch hard, the switch is in engaged position, but the indicator does not turn on. i have to switch it back to off and the flip the switch a bit gently and then it comes on. No such abnormalities with the right one. Would I have to go to the SVC or is there a 'gharelu nuskha' for this? (I'm a complete new born n00b about the electricals and stuff .. so in case some1 posts fixes, please include some details )

                      guys in Chennai @ ,,does any one know from where i can fix a kicker for my fz....i checked wid my showroom they quoted me 3000k on may including kicker and installation charges and they informed me tht they will be getting de kicker by june.so i waited till july and went to de showroom again yesterday and now they are quoting above 3000k for kicker + installation charges,,and de kicker will come to them after 2 weeks....

                        Guys, help needed. I bought Motul chain cleaner from Yamaha ASS. After reaching home I noticed that the import date is Dec 2008 (1.5 years old now). Can it be used?

                          Why do you want to install a kicker? The battery does a good enough job IMHO.

                            hi u dont have to do anything like opening up or anything just go to the svc tell them about the indicator malfunctioning they will spray it with wt40 to clean it up without opening and it will be as good as new...

                              Guys... have anyone of you have installed HID in your steeds? The headlamp of FZ is not very effective for highway driving. Could any one of you please share the experience.Does it drain too much battery too?

                                yeah it does a good job untill it gets itself in trouble ... , i've had to push start a good few times wen the battery conked out , pretty embarassing ... those were the times i wished the thing had a kick .

                                P.S: just came back from orion , went to check for the fz-s visor ,was given the usual " no stock sir " and he doesn't know when the stock will arrive either ...

                                P.P.S :where do you guys get the polish for your rides ? so far i had been using a nameless small bottle that worked perfectly , now that is empty and i need a new one ...
