You cleaned the chain yourself, using Motul chain clean?
BTW, where did you get the rim stripes done from, & where do you get your bike serviced?
Rim stripes from C.M.H road , indiranagar , costed 90 bucks ... I use kerosene to clean , lube is motul . get my yam bros serviced from pacer motors ... have no complaints about them ...

well if I have to do it again , might as well , let them do it
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

I'm guessing Panache Motors. Didnt know they were that cheap. I remember it costing 300 at Perfect Riders in JC road as well as in the Accessories price list.

Hmm on second thoughts, I dont think its Panache.

Which colour Nand? What is your bike colour?
        Everyone falls down, doesn't matter...
But its how fast you get up, that matters.....

he he ... no way i'd pay 300 bucks in SVC for something that i can get done for 90 outside ...bike and stripe colour are both red ...

@adirao90: C.M.H road , indiranagar itself is quite well known , if ur anywhere in an around the area ... assuming that u are , then the name of the shop is venkateshwara helmets ... he does rim striping also ... location depends on from which side ur approaching C.M.H road ... if u come via ulsoor , then take the immediate left after adarsha and about 50mtrs from there on the right hand side is the shop ... if ur approaching from the other side , then u have to come all the way down C.M.H road and shop will be on the left hand side ... hope that helps ...

            Handle bar 220/-

Any one know a place in bangalore where the scratches on the silencer can be covered using a decent paint job?

            • guys like i said jus dropped off my bike for it's final free service today ...

i couldn't quite manage to convince him about my starting problem , coz it worked perfectly wen he tried it , so he jus told the mech to charge it ... hope this solves the problem .

update on the parts replacement thing , they only replace if u have a problem with the concerned parts , plus my bike doesn't fall in the range .

my bill for service is as follows :

              chain lubrication - 180rs
              battery charging - 100rs
              rear wheel balancing & alignment - 100rs
another 100rs for something ( i forgot wat it is exactly )

TOTAL = 500rs ... not bad at all considering i paid 1.3k for my previous free service ...

                • @nand15: Battery charging 100rs! Usually it takes just 30rs in any battery shop, even in Suzuki official SC.

did you also buy the side covers of the headlights along with the fairing???

because i bought an original lumax brand fz headlight assembly for 650 bucks excluding the fairing and the side covers...

                        @deville_56 : really surprising

@animeher : that's what i'm wondering too , but i told him to check it properly and didn't want anymore prob with it ... so i guess he got mad

@sarvajit: i do it myself generally , but since i had done it just a week b4 givin it for service , i don't wanna do it again (lazy) , so gotta pay ...

but if u see my last times service bill , i guess "" would not suffice ... so i'm quite OK with it ... one thing i'm not OK with , they not givin my bike back today , tomo evening it is ...

Only washing, lubing, checkup and "electrolyte topup" done by dealer. These all are supposed to be free under free service. Only consumables are chargable.

I do the rest myself before giving my bike to dealer and tell them what to do and what not to. Only at first service I was billed for oil and oil filter. After that 4 services were absolutely free. Only one more free service left. After that I will go there only if required. The service advisor is very understanding guy and don't say blah blah like others. He even didn't change my air filter and assured it will last another 3k km.
