Got a call from Pacer Motors yesterday. they asked me to bring my bike down to the service station to get the torsion spring, etc replaced free of cost. I bought the bike in December 2008. I no longer own it though. Sold it last month.

Actually can some one tell me the cost of these parts ie., torsion spring, return spring and push lever. I wouldnt mind changing them to see if my gear shifts become smoother.Originally posted by HellsFury View Post

can a battery discharge after being disconnected from the circuit???
i tried to start my fz today after around 3 months and i had disconnected the terminals of the battery before storing.... but it didnt start..... had to push it many times and also tried to jump start it with the 5th gear procedure,,....

I am about to give my fz for the 6th free service. The odometer reading is only 6200km.
I had changed the oil last time and it has hardly run 1000km till then. Should i change the oil?Reduce 1 km/hr speed, add 1second 2 ur life.Comment

yes it can happen...my Batt. discharged within two months of storage even though i had disconnected them...but at the same time nothing happened to my car.Smoke rubber,not tobacco.

Someone suggest me something..
My idle rpm always reduces after a few days of use.. I always reset it and then again it gets reduced... Engine frequently stops while driving also.. I think its due to this low idle rpm... Is there something wrong or is it normal ??
Secondly I am very much confused about the next problem of mine.. If anyone has the experience or knowledge.. please suggest me something..
I bought a Yamaha FZ16 in the mid of march this year. Haven't yet done the permanent registration... I am currently residing in Hyderabad..
Now I m shifting permanently to Delhi... What should I do...
Do the permanent registration here and shift to Delhi or Is there a way to do the permanent registration in Delhi itself..
I am very much confused... Or shall I sell the bike here and buy it again in Delhi. ?? :PComment

you can do both ways.... either get a registration done in hyderabad and then register in delhi if you are going to live for some time in hyderabad or you can get it registered directly in delhi but you will have to use it very sparingly as more kms on the odo will prove that you have been riding the bike which was not registered and hence illegal.... otherwise you can tell the delhi rto that you have bought the bike in march and after that you went out and was not able to register in hyderabad....Originally posted by benihime View PostMy idle rpm always reduces after a few days of use..
