PS: really amazed a tiny windscreen like the one on Fazer can help that much to redirect the air and prevent air drag

i don't think the windscreen of Fazer is that tiny... its way way better than P220 or ZMA...

That's true , but I think that he meant it in the context that , the windscreen alone is responsible for the jump in speed between the FZ and the Fazer ...

P220 has a semi fairing.. but it would be an overstatement to call that thing that it has a windscreen....

... but yes, my point was this. Thanks nand15. The windblasts on the FZ is too much sometimes...

As Jacob mentioned, ur odo reading would be required here to suggest which kind of oil to go for.

Ok.. got my bike back from service. The Petronas is FREAKIN amazing!! I got it serviced from Castrol Bike Zone (Hinjewadi Phase 1) coz my roommates get thr bikes serviced from there and they say he does a decent job. Plus, its on my way to office, and way more convenient than Gurunanak Auto Lounge.

Almost 12000 kms done, so Swingarm lubing, steering bearing lubing were due. I got those items especially added to the job chart.

Feedback: Castrol guys may be gr8 puth pulsars and RTR's, but they r idiots when it comes to servicing FZ's. I feel a distinctive increase in throttle play, which is making me very uncomfortable. The chain is making a weird noise - like it is totally bone dry (but only when I give it race). And the steering bearings... well i think something is loose thr coz I am feeling the impact of potholes on the road on my wrists like never before :x

Gonna go back 2moro and get it fixed. And then I am never going back there again. I would rather face the inconveniences and go to a Yamaha Service Centre. Don't get me wrong.. the pulsars and RTR's that my roommates have get an awesome servicing.. but I just feel the FZ isn't thr cup of tea.

And for the Petronas oil... the machine has never been smoother. I havn't tried anything else so I can't comment whether it is better than Motul etc, but Petronas is AWESOME. It was prolly the only good thing about the service. Despite all the problems the bike has inherited, I still felt like ripping a lil JUST because of the oil change.

BTW, I found a place where they fill N2 in the tyres. 30 bux for bikes, 100 for cars / 4 wheelers. If anyone is interested, its the big HP oil pump (the one which has a Crossword) which lies while going from Wakad bridge to Hinjewadi.

PS: Thanks Novice for the help in helping with the decision about oil and everything else, and the location of the guys who store it.
