Does that work? I mean its supposed to act like a switch right. If u do the same thing to a normal switch(the one used for lights,fans etc) it just switches off.. @nottyboy - im not sure that keeping the switch "in between" the two sides is a permanent solution. it works as long as the switch is new and there are no jerks while riding but as i said, its a temporary solution.
i'm thinking of going to a local repair shop and getting the wiring altered but then yamaha might void my warranty.
they've seriously got to do something abt this !!!Comment

The indications point to an incomplete combustion thereby producing soot. At high speeds, this gets blown out of the exhaust. Check the following:Originally posted by umeshkumawatsa View Post

- is the carburettor air screw setting correct?
- is the spark plug dirty?
- is the spark plug gap correct?
- is the spark produced strong?
If there's a problem with the spark plug, high tension lead or ignition coil, you should notice starting trouble, poor response, poor acceleration and throttle response or poor mileage. It could be just one or a combination.

I had a look at the tyres seen in the pics on Pirelli's website. It's a sport touring tyre called the Sport Demon. It's a cross ply tyre whereas the OEM MRF rear is a radial tyre. Is it possible that an MRF radial is better than a Pirelli cross ply?Originally posted by RanjithMN View PostComment
