i recently bought my fazer (and im lovin it ) . now the thing is, the twin headlights do not get switched on together. one of them has been designed form low beam, the other one for high beam. Has any you guys tried to get both the lights working at the same time? i mean i spoke to the yamaha showroom guys and they said they wouldnt be able to do it from their end.
I went to the Yamaha Factory Shop in pune today..
For the fazer he told me that if we pay an extra of Rs.2000/- he will change the current battary to mantainance free one with higher capacty..
N he said warranty wont lapse.... then he ll turn on both the lights... with no problems!!

Hi guys....what you said is true....according to my information
the SVC guys change to the R15 battery which is a maintenance free-one....
but i doubt, it is of a higher capacity.....
so do check out and then go ahead if you are planning to....
        cheers....

          Thanks.
the economy range for the fz is 3500rpm. The speed would be 45-50km/hr. I would suggest varying the speed between 45-50 and maybe possibly upto 52. This is applicable to highway and city.
          Reduce 1 km/hr speed, add 1second 2 ur life.

i suggest you dont use both the headlamps together since FAZER already have dual horns,it might take a toll on the batt, instead change the low beam to OSRAM nightbraker 55w!
Wats the price of SRAM nightbraker 55w?:

                • hey guys my bike just hit 5k on the ODO today ... i was reading about the engine oils and mostly guys prefer motul , bangy guys , where do you source it from ? I want to shift to motul from my next service coz my last service was at 3800km and the next one is coming up soon .

Or is it better to stick to yamalube itself , which is supposedly a re-badged MOTUL ?

5k is when i switched to motul. It's really worth it, and you just have to change only after 5000kms. So its worth the 900Rs. I say go for it, once you have used motul, you never wanna change backto yamalube!!
It's not what you ride, it's your attitude that counts.

No, they'll let you use any oil you want. But the thing is most SVC guys wont change the oil until its nessesary. So, next time when you give it for service, ask them not to change the oil, and change it yourself at home. Or else you must have someone you can trust there.
