i am seeing lot of plp wanting to change to r15 setup,
initial pickup has increased a lot as the engine revs a lot higher,
milege has also reduced by 5kmpl ,if ride in the highways it will be a lot more,
but i am very happy abt this setup.
u can even go for 100 section pulsar tyres to >pickupsigpic

Last thing i wanna do is drop the meaty softcompound stock tyres and go for crappy hard compound pulsar tyres. One thing fz16 is known for is the handling. Now, why would i wanna take that away?Originally posted by anirudh fz1 View Posti am seeing lot of plp wanting to change to r15 setup,

Good to hear that the pick-up has increased. Hows the top speed? I can do 122kmph on my fz16 w/Gpower plug and Motul v300 oil. But is the milage drop that much? Can you post a pic of your tyre change if possible? It's not what you ride, it's your attitude that counts.

There's no need for a different front sprocket.Originally posted by lonely_biker View PostGreat. Thanks alot. Will try that, do we have to buy the front sprocket also? And can we add more notches to the chain right?
As for the chain, I think nothing needs to be done to it either since no one on this forum has reported having to lengthen it after changing to a R15 sprocket.
