    Performance Kit

    Hi guys,
    Please send feedback if anyone installed performance kit for fz.
    Here in delhi, showroom guys won't allow to test ride with upgraded fz, they start the bike and i enjoy the sound only.

      guys facing a strange problem with the bike...
      when starting it...the engine sputters and the light on the panel flicker for a sec...the problem doesnt persist but is der every mrng...dont want it to develop into something big so asking...pls hlp....wat should i do?? is the battery at fault?

        hey i had this problem too , i asked the guys at yamaha , and they said that it happens if u haven't ridden the bike for a couple of days and then try to start it in the morning , they say the battery charge drops and it needs some time to re-charge by running ... after servicing the problem had vanished .
        People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

          cant be that...i have ridden my bike for the last month..done over a thousand kms....but ya looks like when the battery of my earlier bike was out...

          can it be some problem with the feedback circuit of the bike? like it not being charged while riding?

            For me what used to happen was , even though the engine kill switch was ON , the engine switching on light used to come on and the instrument cluster backlight used to turn off and then back ON , all in a matter of secs and simultaneously the engine started ... but it didn't sputter . so if u have a similar prob , then ur battery is losing charge , engine sputtering , i'm not so sure

              the engine sputtering is actually due to the lack of the power in the starter motor to start the bike..that is the sputterin not due to any prblms in the engine ....

                okay so the battery is at fault . it doesn't have enough charge to start the motor , did u check the level ? ask SVC to charge it and see if the problem goes ... again your assumption about the feedback circuit is also of concern ... that could be the problem .

                  Any idea what Sprk plugs are better... Bosch or NGK

                  And one more thing Can any one tell me where i can get a balaclava in Bangalore.Here is the link of what it looks like........

                    I dont know about bosch. But already yamaha is using ngk on fz. So go for ngk with higher plugs like g-power or iridium rather than bosch. If somebody has used bosch just show him some light.

                          I know our fuel guages are all faulty.But these days when i ride i notice that all 6 dots in the fuel-gauge starts to blinkAnyone else having such issues?

                              Even i have this problem........i have rectified it at all my free servicing
                              but here the guys tend to avoid changing it and now they claim my guarentee is over so u hv to buy new one

                                hey guys i had read somewhere around here that a new electronic component will be available free of cost at yamaha SVC'S which will fix all the electronic fuel indicator glitches......anyone knows anything about it??
