  • Changed handle bar yesterday. Bought it for 230 bucks from Muthoot and changed myself .

Anybody tried real end weights instead of the plastic ones? Gladiator one is metal, but not available. Any other weight available which can be fixed without boltable hole in the handle end????

              • ^^ the white background looks real good man , anyone in bangy know where we can do this mod ? ... guys i have a question , if i install LED's on the bike ( string of 10 ), can the battery handle it ? otherwise if i shift to clear lens rear light ( LED) - which i've been planning to do for sometime - and then install LED's will it be better ?

Use any good quality waxes (also known commonly as polishes) and follow the manufacturers instructions carefully for best results. Their composition may or may not include Carnauba and is of no importance.

Watch out for fakes of brands such as Formula1, etc.

The cheapest good quality wax is Waxpol. A tin of Waxpol Super Quality Polish costs around Rs. 100 and when used correctly will give both good shine and protection. Even their "Scooter Polish" gives good results though it is of a lower quality.

For best results, use two coats of wax, separated by a few hours of application for good drying of the first coat.

I am using 3M liquid Wax polish which is pretty good and easy to apply. I got it from Metro Cash & Carry for Rs 80.

                      • FZ16 with under-seat Twin exhaust. Spotted this while coming from office. It was looking good but sounding bad. My wife was clicking the pics. Finally we scared him off by following him for almost 11kms (He was going in the same route which use daily). He stopped aside and let us go.

                        pics in attachemnts.

Carnauba wax is actually good for paint and it's used in most good polishes.

When you use paste waxes (like the consistency of shoe polish), remember to use a wet cloth or sponge (wet, not soaking/dripping) to apply the wax and apply a very thin coat. If the coat is thick you will struggle to buff it off.

DO NOT USE wax polish on matt (dull) finish plastic. It cannot be buffed off and will dry into whitish residue that looks ugly! Use a silicone polish. I use Waxpol's Protectol (Rs. 110) for this purpose and I find it works well.
