Hello everyone. Reading through this thread for almost three weeks. I bought a Yamaha Fazer with kick about a month back and I have finished 5000 km today. I have ordered Joel's FFE today and he was saying it will be ready in a weeks time, so waiting for that. First I wanted to get the big bore done but due to some work related engagements I am not able to. I haven't seen any posts of the ffe owners, if there are please could someone share their experiences.

you wouldn't get it from yamaha , you can use either a pulsar or a unicorn's 15T front sprocket .


P.S : guys my yamaha logo's have been stolen , the entire lot ... the two bigger ones on the front air scoop and the one on the back cowl and the one on the visor ... , looks really ugly , any idea on how much the entire set would cost me ?

Thank You Try getting the Logo's from JC Rd its around 30 to 50 bucks for the set i think not sure but it is cheaper.

That technique I know,it is quite embarassing when you do that to your new bike.

Any particular shop on JC road ? or just any sticker place should have it ?

there is a can of one liter capacity in which 200ml of fuel is filled and its then connected to the carburetor
then can is hung on the handlebar and then bike is ridden till it stops
the trip meter reading x 5 = mileage

Any sticker shop should have it bro...I always go to one shop on JC Rd don't know the name but the shop has alot of lights outside and at the counter you find a mid-age dude who is fat (Sorry) If you find the shop he will have what your looking for bro

guys got ma bike fitted with greens performance filter,iridium spark plug and sliptwire high tension cable,there is only a little performance increase but im able to beat a stock condition fz easily,milage 32kmpl

My Speedo has stopped working from yesterday. When I was leaving the office for the day went to the basement parking where I park it. Inserted the key to ON position and nothing came up on the console .

I again turned off the ignition and turned on but console didn't show anything. I used the engine kill switch and only the engine warning light "Red" on the console worked. I knew my console is gone bad. But dont understand whay happenned that day. In the morning everything was working fine but nothing worked in the evening. My office basement parking is very secure so no chances of anyone messing with my bike.

My office is just 2.5 Kms (15 mins) distance from my home. I started the bike as usual without the console working and when I was about to reach my house the console started with weird displays. Similar to the ones seen which the predator has on his hands and after few mins it started working fine . When I reached home I tried switching the Ignition ON and OFF several times and evertime the console worked. I thought some water must have entered the comsole due to heavy rains in Mumbai.

But this morning again the same thing happenned. Console did not start as usual and didn't display anything except the engine alert light. When I was about to readch office from my house it started with the predator settings and worked fine after that . In 2 mins I reached office and again tried switching the Ignition On and Off several times and it worked everytime.

Has anyone faced this kind of issue? I guess my console is gone and need to get it replaced during warranty. BTW what are the warranty conditions for the console?

I suppose the issue is about moisture getting inside the console
when it gets warm it starts working since you told its raining heavily
check the console joints for openings i mean the place where the upper and lower portion of the console meets that's where moisture can get in
i would also suggest you got check the issue with the SVC in case its due to something else

The console has a warranty of 3 years its always better to have a new one rather than a repair since its under warranty ask for a replacement

dude, no need to worry and get embarassed

any battery in this world will be discharged if connected to a circuit and not charging even if it is not being used. the battery looses charge if it is not getting charged. hell even a disconnected battery looses charge....

just getyour battery chergaed from a local mech or push or jump start the bike and go for a ride of 15-20minutes.... the faster the better.... your battery will be recharged and will as good as new...

doesnt the battery need 5 to 6 hours of riding to get changed
