doesnt the battery need 5 to 6 hours of riding to get changed
i dont think so my mechainc discharged the whole battery last time by short circuiting it and then he told me to collect the battery after 2 hours. it was fully cahrged by then.

it will be charged for the next use within 15-20 minutes of riding... the full chrage will come gradually....

the time taken by a battery to charge depends on the charging rate and varies from charger to charger....

btw how did you calculate the milleage of your bike? i am really doubtfull about the 75kmpl...

      • Bad day

guys, yesterday is the day i hated in this whole year,

I got a call from the dealer that the bike is ready and can be taken immediately without registration.
Although i was planning to take out after registration,I was curious to see my bike, so i rushed to dealer straight from office. He showed my fazer.
With all joy i sat on my bike and was seeing the console and mirrors,my face was with full smiles,but...

When i saw the shoulder of my bike, my smile reduced and i stood off the bike, the thing is that, the stripe on the tank was good, but the left side of tank was the gorgeous white color(original stock color), but the other side was mudy old faded white,

The difference is hard to differenciate, but somehow cant escape my eyes, i called up the sales person and asked it, he told its nothing and just the lights from the tubelight,shadow,bla..bla.. i told him to turn the bike and he stopped his rubber mouth.

He told me that its just the dirt and can we wiped with any spray. at last he cannot give any reasons and was silent with his head down.

i opted for white after being ready for utmost care,But this incident hurted me alot..I shouted him to bring another unit, but he told it will take above sep10th.I told him to bring the bike in 4 days or else i will cancel the bike.

only a black unit and another white( both not checked) unit were & are readily available. any advices..?
Do any one or any of your friends have a white?
will it fade as the one i mentioned above?
        or
opt for another color & which will be best of other 3(black,red,black with green)??
        or
cancel and find a better dealer with a loss of 500? (i have 3 dealers in my city)

Adding to that i took the 2011 edition black for test ride and i can hardly feel the power loss due to lowering of torque by 0.4(but it is noticable).

sorry to hear that i would suggest you to just call up other dealerships in the city if they have a white fazer ready before cancelling the order
Other than white the red fazer with silver piece on the front cowl looks cool
ask they to check the other white fazer you take a testdrive and If your mind says yes rhen go for it
but remember in this case dont lisetn to anyone just do what your mind says and likes you will not regret

Leave the rear as it is ... You don't need to change it ... but what are you looking for by sprocketting ? this will help us decide better
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

All sprocketting does is to alter your powerband , it doesn't add power ... it just changes when that power gets delivered ... You have a big bore for the power ...

Yeah that will help you gain more top end but you will have to sacrifice a bit of acceleration since you have the Big bore that may not be a problem
