I dont know how its in orissa

Bit here in chennai, the cops check the color in RC book and it must contain the major color of bike[color with maximum ratio with other colors].

If there is a complete change of color,there is a process to get the change/approval from RTO's side, though i dont know those process

.

Also you must have the NOC for riding in orissa with tamilnadu reg,so when getting that NOC your bike color may create problems,

Get cleared by asking info to any RTO brokers or some local-mechs..

since your bike has already met with a major accident I dont think it will be wise to spend around 10k to transport it to orissa. you will be better off by selling the bike at even 5k less than the current prices of used FZ.

this way reduces headache and less roaming.

But you have already spent 11k so your bike must be looking somewhat new and can be sold easily but cannot expect your 11k to increase in resale value.

yeah they do. Rs.100 for defective no. plate. i have mine on the fender. not sure if they gonna fine if you have it on the wind shield (for frazer & fz-s)

hey guys is it against rules/law to have the number stickered on bikes front fender rather than on number plates

concerning FZ16 or FZ-s

Any plate other than Black paint/embossed on white metal plate in standard dimension is supposedly illegal.

i deleted that post because i had misnderstood him....

but the second half still stands that if he has already spent 11k for changing the colour he NEEDS to go to the RTO for getting the colour changed in the RC.

but then transporting the bike to orissa and getting it re registered over there is a lot of hassle plus it is an expensive task.
around 8-9k to be precise.

on second thoughts there is one more way infact the easiest and the simplest way to get a whit blue fz:

buy the black panels for aroun 2.5k, fit them, sell the bike in TN, go to orissa, buy a used fz and while getting the bike transferred to his name get the colour changed as well. since he has already bought the white and blue panels it will be easier for him to change to the limited edition FZ.

the only place where you can put the "legal" number plate in FZ is in front of the odometer...

or you can get two clamps fabricated and mount it on the shocks like in cbr250

Angel eyes

Guys

have a small idea of putting in a pair of angel eyes to my fazer

is it safe to do so in a 1 day old fazer,to open up the fairing and play with it, or willl it spoil my brand new white angel who has not yet seen the roads.

Hmmm, what will be the approximate cost of a good branded pair?

have any recommended brand names of trust,?

will the fitting of it damages my fairing interioirs?

any cuts/ scratches in interiors should be done for fitting them?

there are no such brand of angel eyes available all of them are chinese products. no guarantee for all of them.....

the charges of the AE should not be more than 400rs for a pair any colour....

while fitting the person should not cut anything or scratch anything apart for a very small hole required may be for the wire thats it. if he is doing any other cutting he is not doing properly...
