    Hi Khan,

Here are the pics, the last discussion in the lighting forum is here.

I have removed them now, will put it on for the long rides & also I swap them with Hella's 200FF auxilary lights sometimes. Planning to change the clamps to make it more sturdy & neat.
    Regards,

IMO it should be changed for free if the bike is less than 2 years old..... if those guys give any type of crap just call up the yamaha toll free and see them change it for free....

@Sydney C: what is the price of Diablo Rosso?

                    Hi Novice,
I did it by myself, except that I procured the entire headlight assembly along with HID from Delhi based MXS Motosports. I didn't want to spoil the stock headlight also not sure about the fitment so bought the entire assly for ~5K. The wiring is pretty straight forward, you can do it. If you are going for HID then go for 55W ones they are little warm, better suited for rains. Navnish did brilliant job on Karizma with 55w ones.

                    Hi Deville,
Yes that was the option, but looking at the light...I'm not sure since it will be too much of light & purpose of using those in fog will not be served. Also HID is not a direct fit for Micro-De, you will need to do some Jugad. For driving I have Hella's comet 200FF..

                    Hi Kauria,
Micro-De costs 5K in Pune. But those are meant for Fog. 55w HID headlight + dual 55W fog lights, perfect recipe for touring.
Regrading battery, it won't cost much problems unless you use the lamps cautiously (don't use headlight & fog lamps together). Check the lighting thread for answers.

He was using the HID version, whopping 26k INR It came as OEM fitment in his Beemer Adventure. He was doing 80+ kmph on our broken highway, surely it was perfect for him

never heard of this method before... Anyways which petrol bunks are you filling it up from... try another bunker once and see if there is amy difference...

it seems highly unlikely that your bike's carb setting went for a toss and that too suddenly!! so may be the petrol bunk is the culprit...

If the gears are becoming a bit difficult to shift then do check the engine oil level once.

                              • Hey guys, THEORETICALLY if we put r15's "bicycle tyres" onto our bikes, won't the performance improve drastically?? Highly doubt it's practically possible though..
Reason being,I saw a Fazer with extremely skinny tyres and could not catch up to him even though I was shifting at 7-8k rpms on the Old Airport Road
