you wont be able to fix it to the previous condition as the part where the screw goes in is a part of the shocker tube.

however, there is an arrangement that can be done.....
but that is just a local jugaad.....

you can fixe the thing with some m seal, or if you have the piece that is broken off you can try using industrial adhesive to stick it iv place...

it's 2 and a half years old with 19.6k kms , the wear level is high too , with about 6 punctures ... 3 currently leaking ... I doubt I can get anything for it under warranty ...
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

even mine is the same case.... the side threads are almost gone but the center is still holding good.... have reduced leaning a bit in corners....

i was thinking of going with 150/60 the new mrf revz-c for duke200..... what say?

For me all the problems are on one side .. the right side . the left side still has the side tread left , center is also okay ... another 5K max ... Wouldn't a 150 be overkill ... the tyre is already FAT ... I was thinking of downsizing to 130/70 PSD or else stock ...

P.S : The duke 200 tyre would not have reached stores yet right ?

regarding custom CDI you better ask the guru himself...his race version R15 produce 31 bhp if i remember correctly BTW with the custom ECU it hits 12,000 rpm!!
Tempted to get the exhaust..but I have exams starting soon and will have to wait for a while

150 would be way too fat..the engine as it is feels stressed with these tyres...my change is still a few 1000 kms away (13k on odo)....so peace for now

If the Fork is working well just get some fibre work done.

                • the fork is working fine, the mud guard only makes sound when i go over bumps, thinking of soldering and making a place for the screw to get attached.

Exactly my point ... but my tyre too has enough juice to last another 5K kms ...

i know the 150 will be over kill for the engine and the average will definitely drop by 5-6kmpl....

but then again it will be a bliss to look at.....

i stll have some threads for another 2000kms tops...

but will have to change the rear brake shoes and disc pads in the next 500-1000kms.

any other replacements required??? air filter changed at 12k. oil filter changed 500km back. spark plug is still stock(no backfiring till now)

is there any need for clutch overhaull at 20k? and should i get the cables changed as well?

he he he ... will the 10mm width difference be visible ?

I changed disc pads at at 18.5K along with the throttle cable , It had gotten real hard and the overhaul didn't yield any good result ... so changed that , clutch spring was changed at the same time , same cable though ... I think they would ask you to do a clucth O/H at 20K ... stock plugs for me too , running fine .

the rear brake shoes are out do early ? my indicator shows about half ... i think it has a lot of life left ...

i think so... as you can easily spot the 10mm difference between fz and p220 tyres....

yeah initially for around 8-9k km i used to use only rear brake thats why my front pads are good enough...

yeah that's the better option ...

I was wondering what would happen if we downsize from the current profile to a 130/70 ... people said that 130/70 along with a 15T setup is bad ... I didn't get why that is , any idea ?
