130/70 is a good idea..... improves performance in every way....

no idea about the combo... but i dont think it should be bad.... see 15T setup improves high end performance and reduces the lower end a bit....
at the same time 130/70 should be easier pull than the 140/60....

so in my guess the 130/70 should actually complement the 15T.... as in removes the extra load put by 140/60 intially....

        • Hi all,
I am planning to place an order to Joel for the Ffe. Can anybody here please explain the following points:
          1) What are the main benefits of the ffe?
          2) What will be the fuel figures after install. Currently i am getting around 38 kmpl.
          3) Will this ffe do any harm to the engine in long run?

          Thanks in advance.

I would have to disagree with that ... I checked up prices of the chain , still is 773rs as mentioned in the pricelist ... I changed my rear rim about 3 weeks back and it was 2341rs , same goes for the disc pad prices ... again as mentioned in the pricelist . so I feel that is accurate , a little deviation here or there maybe i think can be accepted , but then again that is completely up to you ...
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

the top end will improve along with a bump in the overall bhp figure.

it is said to increase the fuel efficiency by at least 4-5kmpl.... fo rincreasing mileage you can also try shell.... i am getting 41+ and believe me i am not a person who rides for mileage.....

              3) Will this ffe do any harm to the engine in long run?

              it shouldnt....

              Thanks in advance.

                    • Hi guys,

I am not sure if I have asked this question before. I have searched the also for an answer. But couldn't find a conclusive one.
Why/How does the chain and sprockets wear off unevenly?

                      • Bent Rims and bad tire pressure

                        Hi Guys,

I just had a severe bent in both of my rims it was like a month ago. Got it fixed by a local mechanic.

Now the problem is I have been having bad tire pressure from the day 1 after fixing the bent rims. Now its gone worse, I have to fill in air daily twice.
I fill 28ps front and 35 ps rear in the morning and in the evening when I check them its like 18ps front and 21ps rear.

When checked the same mechanic he is suggesting of putting tubes in them.
Will this help or I have to change to new rims?

Changing to new rims isnt a issue, just want to know the downside of using tubes in fz tires and will it cause any trouble in the long run.

if you can buy new rime get them.....
otherwise if you are on budget constraints you can put tubes in them....

If you can get the rims , then go for it ... tube in a tubeless tyre is a huge pain in the rear end .

                            1. The tubeless tyre is heavier and sticking in a tube will add to that ...
                            2. I heard that you will get an air pocket in the rim and seating the tube is really hard .

both above factors can adversely affect the handling and stability .

and getting a tube to match the unique tyre profile of the FZ would be an even bigger pain .

i agree with nand15 on this one.

tubes although a cheaper option is not recommended from my end. they are more or less dangerous when you are riding at high speeds and a sudden loss of air pressure of a tubed tire will make it quite difficult for the rider to keep control of the bike in such situations.

                              cheers
