and at SVC i was charged 400 as labour charge too...!!! so either he may b providing cheap fake parts or he is gonna replace the oil only...!!! oil replacement doesnt need much labour unlike seal change..!!
At the svc, they said oil+seal change for 1 tube is 450₹.. So for 2, 900₹
And as for the local mech.. When i was changing the engine oil, there was another fz which was having the oil and seals changed.. He said 200-250₹ for one fork.. Will check tomorrow to be sure if that price was only for the oil or for oil+seals..

Yes, it does wobble.. Try giving too much front that rear.. You will understand..

Cheers,
Ya.. Looks like it.. 3700₹ is something.. Have to save a lot from pocket money..
btw.. Since motul brake oil is not available here and castrol is not relaible for how genuine it is.. How good is Bosch Brake oil, DOT 4..?

Bro try Pulsar 220's steel braided lines, will cost you 1109 exactly..Its very good, may not be good as HEL ( i haven't tried hel's brake lines), but gets job done properly and you will be satisfied. I installed on my 200ns and my friends r15v2, we both are happy with it!

am 99% sure they should be direct fit on fz. for 1 % check length and banjo bolts size in any 220 and check it with your bike.

Next it was direct fit on ns and r15v2

Hello Team XBHP,

I am very new to XBHP and this is my 1st query.
I know this query has been asked / answered several times but again I want to confirm it.
I recently purchased Yamaha FZS.
I feel the headlight is too weak.
I want to replace the stoke 35/35 watt halogen with any good 60/55 watt halogen.
Can it be done without any modification?
Can the battery take the load of it? what kind of halogen is a direct fit ? H4? if yes then which brand and series should I go for under Rs 200

There ain't anyone who has p220
Will check with bajaj svc in a few and check the length n all..
anyways.. Thanks a lott for this.. If it is a fit, would save me a couple of thousand ₹..

And one thing.. How's the performance on R15v2 ?? On the scale of 1-10, where would you rank them in terms of improvement by your experience ??
my bro has v2, will get them on it also..

Yes.. H4 is a direct fit.. Under 200₹, you won't be getting any branded ones.. Like philips or osram.. They come in pairs (i am also looking for a single piece) and they cost something ~1100₹..

I dont want any modification currently, just want to replace the bulb... how much watt does the alternator of fzs produces?

I haven't ridden r15 after change of brake lines, but my friend was very happy. He is a xbhp member only, black asp. Ask him directly, if you wish. In my case, their was considerable increase in confidence in the way i felt in using brakes. Felt more firm.

It should take the load.. As the fazer has the same battery, but has two lamps.. So a 55/60W bulb should be fine on the stock battery..
Don't know about the alternator..
If i am wrong here.. Correct me as i just made this assumption..

Hey bro just read your post
Ya iam using the steel line of p220 on my r15 v2 since the last 15 days smrutisourav helped me procure them as I was busy in my office work so a big thanks to him:thumbup: it was done as a diy by metook me aprox 15 min job. The length of the steel cable slightly longer than stock but it wasnt a issue after all initially my pads were wornnout and I did a mistake of just changing the cables without bothering about the washers that hold the banjo bolts so within a day the cables started leaking as a result the pads were spoilt by the oil luckily the pads were past their best and I got help from Ivin who adviced me to change the washers thanks to him also  so I got the washers changed pads replaced and got my bike on the road
Immediately I felt the spongy behavior of the brake lever was gone I mean if you have ridden for many thousand kms ( mine done 34k kms in 2 yrs)on your stock cable its bound to take air as its a rubber cable and its sidewalls get porous with time so you develop a spongy effect on the brake and the brake isnt so progressive after all so this steel line eradicates the spongy feel. I feel braking distance is some how the same or decreased a bit but ya the feel abd feedback from the cable has definitely increased
Aftermarket steel cables from HEL or TDR cost a bomb aprox 3k but this cable costs about rs 1109 and is a must for any r15 owner who thinks about changing his cable yo steel lines. To top it all recently visited svc as my frnd got a brand new r15 I test rode his bike for some time and felt that the new brakes almost have the same feel as mine
Thats when I realized its money well spent
P.s. just dont get the washers do get 4 washers for the two banjo bolts it will cost approximately rs 5-6 igot it in yamaha svc but you may not get it there so its better to get it ftom the bajaj shop you purchased the cables its easily available there
Also attaching pics if any further help needed do contact me bro
