Try searching the thread.. There is a option of 'search thread' on the right top..Originally posted by er.aditya View PostHi Team,
I need some information regarding LED pilot lamp and LED tail light.
Original Yamaha lights cost 500/- for LED pilot lamp and 1200/- for LED Tail Light.
1. Can I get some reasonable LED's for this somewhere in Pune?
2. How much it will cost?
3. What will be the watt of those?
4. How much reliable it will be? Expected Life?
there is member making these.. Search for the discussion from there and contact him..
Ride safe and have fun.

12AMP? Really? My stock battery is just 5AMP...
Did you do any modification to accomodate that big battery ? I guess Stock battery holder can accomodate only 5amp battery

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Mizt... The bike can do it without any issues.
Few suggestions:
1) Get the bike serviced a week before you start travelling. With a week in hand, if something goes wrong with the bike, you can visit the SVC again.
2) Change the oil to Semi-Synth or Full-Synth as you require. Also, keep one pack of oil with you while travelling.
3) Get the clutch cable, accelerator cable changed. Keep spare clutch and accelerator cable handy with you.
4) Check the chain condition.
5) Check all electricals.
6) Check battery condition.
7) Keep puncture kit handy.
Hope you have a great tour

Thanks for the info can you also throw some light on what should be my average crusing speed for the entire trip. My bike's engine is bone stock.Originally posted by devils_friend View Post@Mizt... The bike can do it without any issues.

You can easily cruise between 80-85kph. The bike struggles to go three digits.Originally posted by Mizt View PostThanks for the info can you also throw some light on what should be my average crusing speed for the entire trip. My bike's engine is bone stock.

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Gears are hard to shift, replaced clutch cable 4 days back - now it feels like the whole block is going to fall apart especially when I shift. What might be the anomaly??? Shifts aren't smooth as well.BENEATH THE REMAINS.........

Maybe the clutch cable is loose.. That why the grears aren't smooth.. (I think.. Maybe its a wrong assumption)Originally posted by chaosaddict View PostGears are hard to shift, replaced clutch cable 4 days back - now it feels like the whole block is going to fall apart especially when I shift. I got the fork fixed.. Repaired only the leaking fork.. Was not sure about the mech, so asked him to change only the one, as it was now ozoing oil like anything.. But to my surprise, he did an really good and neat job.. Work done in 15-20 mins.. Was charged 250₹ and he used servo fluid..
Ride safe and have fun.

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
One stupid question, When do we need to turn the fuel valve to Reserve? Is it when the fuel indicator starts blinking or when the bike comes to halt after using all the fuel in the main tank?sigpic
With you I realized, I have multiple personality disorder. I turn to Bionic when I'm astride you.
