If it suits your pocket, you can continue using it. It dosen't harm the engine in any way.

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

I tried this one out too. Had the headlights running for about 45 KMs in the night. Still it didn't got evaporated. So Y'day went to a local mechanic in JC road, Bangalore. He said he will remove the headlight cover and refix it again with a strong adhesive. Cost me 250Rs (Typical of JC road)
Y'day it rained here, and had taken out the bike during that time. For now, I don't see any water going in into the headlight.

Thanks a lot brother!! Let me try this. I had seen the DIY for R15. But was sure of doing it for fazer. Now there is something to follow.

Guys, i am hearing a strange 'hissing' noise coming from the rear or middle part of the bike. I am not able to locate exactly from where it is coming.
You might remember the noise that used to come from the bicycle pump while filling the air. Its like that, also like metal to metal contact.. 'Tisss hisssssss' like that
i mostly hear it when i am riding at slow speeds (30-40kmph). There is not punture or air leaking, the brake shoe are fine. I started hearing this from a few days back.
I think its coming from the rear wheel, as it becomes more when i increase the speed and at very slow speed, it feels like its taking turns with wheel..
any idea what it might be ?

          Ride safe and have fun.

Checking rear wheel bearing and cush drive might help.Do you hear it when driving higher gear and slow speed.

Not in high gears, i keep the speed and gears in proportion.
at high speeds, i don't hear it due to wind noise. But at slow riding, its quite audible.
              will get them checked.

Looks like the same problem as mine But i don't hear it while standing still, only when the bike is moving.
can't figure out from where the sound is coming.
as the other member has mentioned, do get those things checked.

ohkk....then ours issue is not same...mine is not continuous.....it comes only when i go thru pothole or speed braker....its like dat squeaky sound which comes from old vintage cars when u open or close their door....and in my case noise is coming from centre portion of the bike..not tyres...i had sprayed WD40 on mono-shock and nearby area after the rains...is it because of that???

I get "thud thud" sound when i pass thru a pothole or something like that. I don't think using WD40 will generate such noise.
