Should I go for the stock battery again from exide, costing Rs. 1250 ? Exide doesn't have MF batteries. I checked with a dealer.
Look for other dealer or else go on Amaron website and check for distributors in your city.

Exide does have MF battery, check this Exide Reachout Products | Two Wheeler Batteries | Exide XPack. Although, not sure about its performance.

This should be MF. The pic says factory charged. Check this Amaron's site Amaron - Two Wheeler , if you scroll down, you will see "Zero Maintenance" written.

nadz11.ns... A MF battery will not have Minimum and Maximum level markings on the body of battery (making a guess).

would highly recommend not to opt for exide. get hold of amaron customer care and figure out the next best possible dealer. their website and sales team should be able to help you out on the same..

Cheers

Okay.. Exide dropped. Would search again for Amaron and if couldn't one. I don't mind waiting for a week or so.
Thanks.

Hello friends,

my friend said that fz has gear dampers. it must change after 20000km. also he said that we can check the dampers are bad by slow the idle and sudden accelerating make a "dhag" sound. is this true ?

Its good to change them every 10k kms

Had enquired about this at a local garage, he quoted roughly about Rs. 1150-1200. No idea about the lock.

Try greasing it. If the noise still persists, change the bearing.
