There are too many variables to make a comparison here
Everything from tyre pressure, gear change pattern to riding style matters.
Also of note is that your bike is relatively new and thus the engine probably has not set in correctly yet.
A 4 year old bike if maintained properly, is very well set in and can perform very well.
So dont worry about it. Your ride will only get better. Make sure you maintain her well

    Have a query.
I have a FZ 16, purchased in December and clocked around 400KM till date. For last week, I see the bike vibrates slightly around 3700-3800 rpm in 3rd, 4th as well as 5th gear.
Once I cross 4000 rpm, the vibration vanishes.
During my second service, I mentioned that to service center folks, however they said its normal and nothing to worry.
This ride is so vibration free, even a slight vibe irritates a lot.
What can be the reason behind it?
Yes this is normal with these bikes. The vibrations will slowly fade as you build mileage.

    Yamalube gor fz is 20 w 40.
Which one do you think will be better.I want to go for 20w50 mineral because yamalube loses viscosity preety early.
    Please suggest me one.

If castrol active 20w40 is worth using i will go for it as it is said to protect engine even when not riding and it is available everywhere.

How old is your bike? Also as summer times are in, you can go for a higher viscosity oil like 20w50. You can also try a lower viscosity if it can withstand high summer temperatures. Motul is good in this respect.
I use Motul 300v 15w50 and its amazing in summers.

    Cheers!!

I think there will be very less effect but I strongly would not recommend 120/80-17 as the width of the tyre is less and can lead to handling problems.

                Cheers

                      300v is Fully synthetic.
Motul 3100 4T plus is mineral.

You can go for synthetic oils. They protect engines better.

Thanks for the reply.I have recently changed to ceat 130/80-17.I observed that at full throttle the bike refuses to go beyond 5500 rpm. The speed attained at this rpm is 80 kmph which has now become my top speed.Earlier with stock tyres the bike would definately touch 8500 rpm & go beyond that too. Top speed at these rpm were around 110.Now my question is that with front sprocket of 14 T did you also face the same issue? After changing the sprocket to 15 T what is the max rpm your bike touches? & whats the speed attained at that rpm?

Yes I too faced the same problem when I went in for 130/80-17. After I changed to 15T. I am able to reach 105Kms earlier I was able to touch 110 kms. I am Bulky in nature. But Changing to 15T is the best option. It is really easy to change to 15T. no alterations required.

                          Cheers

                                Hello All

Clutch adjustment at both ends of clutch cable has come to end position, mechanic says we need to remove the engine side cover, remove oil and then make a setting
Can you please anyone help with instructions or a link. I want to do it myself as oil change is due in another 200 kms.
                                Thanks in advance.

I have been trying to increase the handlebar height. Tried some handlebar risers and they were charging 2000(JC road) and that too with not a good finish. Hence have got Bajaj avenger handlebar riser for Rs.400 from shivajinagar. Yet to procure a flat 1/2" or 1/4" thick flat bar 3" x 8" to mount risers and this setup onto four holes which are holding the handlebar now. Will keep you all updated once I am done.
