As long as ur getting good fuel efficiency, it wouldn't matter I believe.

It was just a thought that came to mind when I read 30rs petrol for weekdays and 1ltr petrol on weekends. Not arguing here. Just random thought process

Today at Pari Chowk (Yamuna expressway, G.Noida) I spotted 2 updated FZ16/FZ-S which was recently caught in spy pics by media.. probably were being tested by Yamaha test riders. I could only get a good look at it's rear and the sound. Seems kinda good man, the rear view looks more premium now, the updated exhaust pipe, and it's sound also updated and refreshed. I hope it's not the same old 150cc though..
Couldnt follow it as I had urgent meeting with someone, otherwise would've clicked several clicks ! especially the engine portion.

There is no difference between the old model and the new model mud guard except the extension which can be also installed on the older models of FZ.

Shouldn't cost you a moon.. most likely under 500 bucks..

          a) Respectfully, xbhp doesn't encourage street racing. For the safety of your self and others on the road would sincerely request you not to do it on streets. The correct place is a race track!
          b) There are lot of variables as rightly said by a fellow member which may include:

          * State of the carburettor tuning.
          * Spark plug, air filter.
          * Maintenance and condition of the engine.
          * State of the chain, slackness, lubrication and life left.
          * State of tires whether correct tire pressure was used or the grip has worn out.
          * The launch at the start of the drag.
          * Wind speed, rider weight etc.

The phone GPS is not accurate mind you. For cent percent correct reading you will need GPS data logger like Gtech or Racelogic V-box.

My bike shakes when idealing and sounds like a tracter (ghat ghat ghat ghat) but every thing is fine when riding.
            What could be the reason?

Have a look at the engine mounting points, if the holding points bolts are loose then it can cause really high vibrations.

I fitted angel eyes on my fazer...
But i am not satisfied with red.

Do you guys think white or blue would have looked good?
                As my bike is red.

White should look good, but make sure that in that case you are changing the pilot lamp also to white led.

                      Hi,

first of all would request you not to use sms language.. makes it really difficult to read.

Regardless, Using simple string method is good enough to do the alignment. If you are keen, you may opt for wheel balancing at a tire shop. using 150/60/17 i personally feel is an overkill. If you are interested then you may try Dunlop Tuff Grip 140/70/17.. If you look at the older posts then you will notice that this tire has had very positive reviews about grip and better resilience against tire punctures.

                      All the best,

                      Cheers

Changed The engine with MOTUL 7100 4T 20W50....
                        Reviews according to me
                        1. Lower RPM bike Struggles little bit- at Higher RPM bike is smooth.
                        2. After Crossing 50 speed bike is just so smooth can't even explain like crisp , never felt like that before.
                        3. Gear Shifting became Smooth.
                        4. Engine Idle sound is not smooth.. a little bit harsh(May be after running few kms expecting smooth engine when bike is in Idle mood).

                        Bike ODO 5200km,1 year Old.

It takes time for the oil to break-in and give that heavenly feeling, you will get there..don't worry.

Ya thanks alot.. this is My first Oil Change before I was Using Yamaha Lube. I waited to change the engine oil after all free service/1 year.
I want to ask if u don't mind. Does Engine Oil improves or decrease Mileage of Bike 3-5 km?????

No, never by such a great margin, when using thicker oil , you might find some issues with cold start and the first few minutes the engine might be a bit rough, once the engine reaches optimum working temperature, it should be lubing well, without much friction, that wouldn't cause a drop in mileage.

But a smoother and cooler engine does give more efficient combustion and might have a small increase theoretically, it might not translate into a notable difference in real world.

You should have used motul 3100 mineral oil,
                                7100 is fully synthetic.
Even r15 is recommended to use semi synthetic oil, whis is a big no to fz engines
