Please check for shakes in the swing arm. Just put the bike on stand and try to move the back wheel from left to right. See if there is any play. If there is a play then please change the swing arm bush and bearing.

    Cheers.

Got it fixed from the SVC and things were perfect. Now after 500+ kms,the cornering is scary! Handlebar isnt vibrating over potholes. That issue has been sorted.

Did the SVC guys simply tightened the nut or did they actually used a Torque Wrench to tighten it?? If the locking nut is overtightened then the coneset can fail as low as under 500 kms. My bike's coneset recently suffered a similar faith thanks to a moron mechanic at the SVC. Now i have no choice but to replace the coneset and the lower arm as well as it bears scratch marks or deep abrasions on it.

      Hope this helps..

The SVC simply tightened the nut, thats all they did. Can you show a pic of the cone set you're talking about?

I am having the same issue.Mechanic said it was because of weak fork spring.
Check if your fork spring is weak.Press the handle hard.If the fork dives all way down easily, then it might be the reason.

Nope fork doesn't dive all the way down.if it did so,you would be having a bent front wheel rim by now.

              Hello All,

Can you please let me know how to adjust the clutch setting in the clutch plate area. I have reached the end point at both the ends of the cable. Mechanic says that they will have to remove oil and then oil seal has to be changed while doing this clutch setting adjustment. i have got new clutch cable, it helped but in another 500 kms, i will reach the end point on adjustment on this cable too.(clutch operation is so smooth with the new cable).

Can you please also let me know the price of both the switch panels on the handlebar.
Met with a accident(got out with few scratches) and got full scratches on the right side tank plastic panel, could you help with the price if someone knows.

Hi all a small help please
This is the first time occuring for my FZ16
I tried self-start as usual ( no kick-start). It failed, instead giving a "tick" sound. (Display, lights, horn working feebly)
So I tried pushing and starting.
Please let me know what should I change : battery, spark plug, engine kill switch or wiring.?

My bike : 4.5 years old, 24000 km, never replaced battery or spark plug before....

yea, the battery is dead. Change the battery mate and also the spark plug. You can opt for Amaron MF battery or Exide MF battery.
Spark plug should be changed periodically (won't hurt much to spend 100rs something for better starts)

                  Ride safe and have fun.

Thanks for the quick response bro. I will replace the battery soon.
How much the spark plug would cost. Iridium will be better or stock one is fine?

Stock plug is fine. Would cost you Rs. 115.
Just replace it every 12k kms or 1 year. I do the same

Stock plugs are fine, but you can opt for NGK G Power plugs. Cost 170. They help in better combustion due to a more refined tip. Its direct plug and play.

P.S - ensure you get the correct heat range of plugs.

The stock plugs are also from NGK. Don't know if they are G power or normal

Yes, most bikes nowadays come with NGK as stock, but they aren't G Power.

                              FZ should have similar plugs.
