Hi everyone, I'm new to xbhp forum and have recently relocated from Chennai to bangalore. I own a 2011 model Yamaha FZS. I have a strange problem with my bike after I met with a very minor accident. I have consulted Orion motors and they were able to fix half of the problem.
The problem is, no matter how many times I change the Cone and ball set, it still seems to be unaligned and even the forks seems to be unaligned. I just changed my front and back tyres to stock MRF. When I ride my bike, I feel the left part of the handle bar is high and the right part is low and hence when I hold it, I feel I have to stretch my left hand more and right hand less so I get a feel of the handle bar being aligned more to the right.
The showroom guys were able to fix that problem by adjusting the right column of the fork. However, that aint a permanent solution. If i ride on a bumpy road, the alignment changes again.
So i'm looking if anyone here can suggest me whether Fz can be installed with an inverted telescopic fork set along with the correct handlebar to balance the weight of the forks. Just like the KTM forks... And also please let me know who is the best trustworthy person who can do this Mod in Bangalore.
I saw a set of forks at JC road in a shop who is the K&N dealer there. I was not sure whether to buy those and I was not sure who would do the mod perfectly without causing any impact to the bike and its performance.
I came to know that Joel is for engines only and not for any cosmetics Mod.
Pls help.
Thanks,
Sudharshan
