Will clean the terminals and cover with petroleum jelly.

EDIT: Checked the terminals and they are very clean. Not dirt or sulphur buildup..
I would suggest you to go Service Center and tell them to survey/check your bike , Now only they can tell you if any problem have occurred...!!! Rather then making yourself a little bit worry visit SVC.

Well the problem hasn't resurfaced again. If it does, I would surely visit svc. Thanks

Having a lot of free time these day.
So changed the brake fluid and the improvement could be felt.

I have been wanting to install steel braided line for months now, but the budget never seem to be helping me. Hopefully this month.

        Ride safe and have fun.

Yup.. I will get P220's lines. It costs ~₹1200. HEL lines are very costly and cost ₹3700
But saving even 1200 is getting tough these days.

What does this steel braided line means?
              Sorry for my poor knowledge.

The pipe which connects the brake master cylinder and the brake pistons (on the disc) is called Brake Line. The brake fluid flows through this pipe.

On our bike, its made of plastic and over time, it degrades and allows small amount of air to pass through it. These air bubbles are the reason we feel brake loss after sometime.
Steel braided lines are made of steel and they are much more resistant to any type of air leak and hence help in providing better feedback.
                Hope this helps.

Another crucial aspect of steel braided lines is that, it won't buckle under hard braking, while chances of the lines buckling with normal lines are more, once the lines get buckled, one will have almost no response from the brakes.

Its 17K on the odo and I have went for the chain sprocket replacement on the bike. Last year had left the chain un lubricated for a week after a soap wash and there was noise from the rear sprocket thereafter. It was 14K then.

I went to a nearby shop for the replacement and they told that they source genuine Yamaha spares. As it was a Sunday, I decided to get it done from there. The chain is from Diamond India and it was in a box that appeared genuine. I have attached the images of the same.

It costed me 1300 for the set and 150 for the labor. I was wondering if this is genuine as it had a opening linkage which is not there on the standard stock chain. Even the RN marking on the sprocket is missing.

Though I am not worried about the pricing which can be much lower in the open market for diamond chain sets, but the chain should be strong enough for our steed. Any views on this.

AFAIK. The original chain & Sprocket set comprises of chain from Rolon(O-ring type) and the sprocket set from Yamaha(Inhouse production). And the chain does not have a removable link That is why we have to change once the back wheel has been moved fully to the last. I don't know whether O-ring type of chain has a removal link. I think the dealer might have sold the original chain and kept only the sprocket set then he might have replaced it with the Diamond chain set. From the look of the chain I don't think it is a O-ring chain set.

Again very important to ride safe. It only takes one split second to change everything!

And BTW that looks like a Fazer converted to an FZ. Look at the position of the registration number plate.

                                Cheers!!
