Thnks for your reply, but as per my knowledge the drain interval of FS oils is very long. So is 4 months itn't early for FS oil?

Drain Interval means after certain kms the oil looses its effectiveness and is almost next to nothing. Oil starts oxidising as soon as it comes in contact with the atmosphere and other parameters, so drain interval is for "kms" and not "days".

Finally....Today I changed the rear tyre of my Fazer.
The older MRF Revz was a gem in my case at it lasted for 40K KM with 3 punctures only and still in good condition.
I changed to Revz Y , the latest from MRF of same size. I got it for Rs.2800.

Hi Guys,

My yamha FZS-S has amco battery. It has been 2 and half years now and the battery has gone dead. I am planning to get a new battery so wanted a suggestion of which company should i go for . I have heard that EXIDE , AMRON both are good . But Amron Pro Biker alfa has 5yrs warranty where as exide has only 2yrs.

I also saw bosch batteries are now available . Can anywhere let me know how good are they and its cost if possible.

Please suggest.

First try to get Amaron 5Amp battery. If it isn't available, then go with Exide 5Amp one. Both these are MF batteries and would cost you under rs. 2500/-
I had change to Exide in march i think i got it for rs. 2200/-.

Ride safe and have fun.

But i guess exide does not give 5 yr warranty right?

Nope.. Warranty is for 2 years.

What i got is the dealer left the warranty card without purchase date and said when the battery starts giving problems and requires change, just fill the date so you can get a change under warranty

Hi
I am facing a serious issue with my FZS 2013 bike. Now it completed 13000 Kilo meters.but recently , while riding engine is turning off automatically. Some times when i accelerate engine it wont accelerate but makes a boom sound.Along with that if i pull the clutch engine will turn. This problem started when just after crossing 10000 KM and now it is happening frequently.Already went to service center at marthahalli and whitefield , Bangalore many times .They adjusted slows peed and clutch but still same problem. Also my bike they just tuned like 100 cc engine.no pickup. Told them to do carburetor tuning for performance but they don't know how to do that. Afraid to go to local workshops. Can some someone tell me what might be the problem with my bike?anyone faced this problem before?

At 13000 kms, I guess its the spark plug or the carburetor, most likely the carburetor! Air filter must be intact unless you rode the bike without the cover.
I would've suggested you a mechanic but 'am still trying to get my carb in track with him.

Check for following:

1) Clogged Air Filter.
2) Blockage near the suction port.
3) Spark plug condition.
4) Water in fuel tank.
5) Clutch plates condition.
6) Idle RPM fluctuation.
7) Spark plug cap condition.

If above pointers are fine, get the carb cleaned. Also, do you ride a lot on reserve? If so, avoid doing it.

first check the 7 pointers as mentioned by devils_friend . If everything is fine, (as in my case) i guess you may need "Tappet Adjustment" done at svc. I too had exactly the same issues with mine and that was the remedy for my problems. Mine had run 17k then (2012 model).
