As much I like my Red and Black FZ16, those two are two awesome colours. Where did you get this jd. Couldnt find it on their site either. Why didnt they launch these instead of the current colour schemes in FZ-S. Would have paid the extra 2.5k for these for sure...Originally posted by jd666 View PostThere are 2 new colors in FZ-S, one in blue and other in green.Everyone falls down, doesn't matter...
But its how fast you get up, that matters.....

The new decals are not bad. But any news of any non-cosmetic changes?? I know you cant improve on perfection, but still I hope the FZ doesnt go the Unicorn way...Originally posted by deville_56 View PostVisual upgrade to FZ also there. Saw a whole lot of them at dealer last week when I was there to get mine serviced. New decals, black side panel piece, and body-colored headlamp surrounds.Everyone falls down, doesn't matter...

Hey guys met with an accident.. slipped on some oil on the vile parle flyover and a taxi ran over me... Thankfully my backpack and laptop took most of the brunt, just have a couple of broken ribs n bruises all over...
Other witness told me that the cab clipped me from behind causing me to fall but I dont remember that. The bike herself is fine, but since this is the second time I had a serious slip at relatively low speeds (was around 35) i'm now thinking there might be somethin wrong with the tyres... Had around 6-7 punctures repaired on them.. will post pics of the tyres later (its at a friends place, thankfully not damaged except for some scratches
) Anyone else face lesser grip at lower speeds? At >60 she's as solid n sticky as a rock!!
And anyone doubting the value of a good helmet can come see mine... best 3k bucks i've ever spent, now to be replaced ( from now on, its gonna be all the gear, all the time for me
)

hi, even i experience some slipping at lower speeds while turning.... but that i think is mostly because of the gravels on the road other than that no problems even while cornering at speeds more than 50-60kmph.... but yeah gears are essential only problem with the good ones are they cost almost the same as the bike

Mr.Vinais, I too face this slippery issue in slow speed (20-30kmph) especially at corners with gravels or sand. I feel something there is a relation between the turning radious + speed with tire grip. Especially I did face this issue in right side turning freqntly in one place (near to my house).Originally posted by vinais View PostHey guys met with an accident.. slipped on some oil on the vile parle flyover and a taxi ran over me... Hmm this is some problem that I faced in the beginning too.. I thought that it was because of the disc braking... did you pressed your break just before the accident?Originally posted by vinais View PostHey guys met with an accident.. slipped on some oil on the vile parle flyover and a taxi ran over me... hmmm... i donm't think he actually hit the brake , coz he was hit from behind , so he was tipped off by the cabby ... in that case man , i don't really think u or the bike could have done anything about it ...Originally posted by krates View PostHmm this is some problem that I faced in the beginning too.. personally , i have had no issues with brakes or grip in slow , fast or wet conditions either ... my brakes n tyres worked like a charm on rainy occasions wen i had a sticky situation .... *touchwood*
