I would advice you against buying an FZ. I have experienced it. The ride as a pillion would be really uncomfortable (as my wife mentioned). 10 to 15 mins long rides would be fine, not anything more than that.Originally posted by kauria View PostThanks for prompt reply, in India no bike is made to carry three people, nor even in the world. But we do carry three people sometimes in our bikes, although it is not a good habit. Considering my weight 70 plus my wife and kid total around 85, so total is 155kg, my RTR is always ready to carry these loads, but I have no idea if monocross can carry it or not, BTW how is the power delivery when carrying these type of weights. And how is the mileage?

Got the tyre changed this weekend. It costs 2850/- in MRF showroom here in Pune. Might be a little cheap elsewhere.Originally posted by ayushkant View PostTyre puncture mended means that I got it fixed on a local tyre repairing shop
I don't know if it was stem or mushroom puncture fix but he inserted a rubbery long cylindrical wire kind of thing through a screw driver kind of tool into the punctured area and when he took the tool off, the wire stuck in it.
I'm going for MRF Revz only this Saturday. It'll cost around 2500-2700/- Will give an exact figure once I get it done.

I bought it for 2900 Rs/- from MRF showroom itself, when i asked other friend he told he bought it for 2600 from other place(not MRF showroom). i was like WTFOriginally posted by ayushkant View PostGot the tyre changed this weekend. ... Seriously guys if you are going to change the tyre first look for some other places after going to MRF showroom... you may get it 200-300 bucks lower.
MRF showroom sucks...

Buddy can you tell us how much it costs?Originally posted by kinshuk.arya View Postyeah it can be fitted on fz.... check out my album....
Whether there's a need for more powerful battery?
What's the output of, means is it powerful as P220's?sigpic...Ride Long...Ride Safe...

it costed me 2000 bucks for the projector 650 for the headlight assembly and around 200 for fitting... you dont need a powerful battery...Originally posted by Binoy View PostBuddy can you tell us how much it costs?

but the output is a bit less as it is a h3 bulb which is used in fog lamps....
i would suggest you to go for h3 hid which also costs around 1800....Timon: Orange Yamaha FZ16 2009

no... the p220's projector is an h7 projector....and you wont be able to buy just the projetor you will have to buy the entire headlight assembly and then salvage the projector from there also it does not have an angel eyeOriginally posted by Binoy View Postso its not a P220's projector lamp?

no it doesnt effect the air flow at all as it open from front it just covers the engine frm down from direct dust of tyres falling on it.. and keeps my bike a lot clean.. just have to clean the guard.. rest no problem to air flow.... parts cost is 1250 and 150 is the installation charge.. if you have fz it will be hard to put this thing.. you will need to get a plate welded down. to fit the front nut.. tht ur delear knows betr.. but its simple for fazer luckly they have a spot were its gets fixed from front..Originally posted by Samarth_M View PostI am interested in this too
I also have a red fazer and those look quite neat on it
Do they interfere with the airflow around the engine fins and engine cooling? If not I think I might get it done too

I'm taking her for servicing tomorrow myself so will make inquiries. I suppose being in Mumbai I may have to shell out a bit more but I'm definitely getting it done... it looks good. BTW do you notice the engine getting hot in traffic due to the fairing? Does the fairing vibrate excessively at high speeds?
This is the fairing from the gladiator SS/RS correct? Also did the official service centre guys do the fitting or did you get it done from somewhere else? Thanks in advance for all your info
