fz's stability and handling are way above the other bikes in the segment....
all thanks to its good low and mid range power, the rear tyre and the wheelbase.....

    • i gone through all the posts in this FZ thread 628 pages . ofcourse i am very much fond of fz16 but after several thinking i choose dazzler because in FZ16 u cannot ride with a lady sitting as a pillion wearing saree. once i saw a guy and woman at the age of around 45 riding in fz near loyola college.it was a funny thing to watch them in that bike as the bike is not suited for saree wearing ladies, the lady was at the verge of the bike and the guy was pushing himself against the tank so his legs were open.it was a real funny thing .so this bike is not suited for guy who is a family man.
most guys in this thread say the mileage is bad.but it is not so. i have two friends owning this bike. they have average of 50-55kmpl in city.
mostly this bike is owned by college goers and what they do is "vroom" the throttle u cant expect a bull bike with awesome torque to give mileage if u twist ur hand too much. both my friends are employed guys and they know the value of money and twist the throttle slowly .

A fine mixture of both of them id say! :P
but yeah FZ is pretty easy to throw around in the city.

well this bike is seriously not ment for saree...its ment for youngsters.. with girlfrnds it not for family use.. were u get tomato and patato.. if thats the case you should surely go for a family bike.. dazzler , krizma..pulsar.. which u find good... my girl said.. if i buy some thing usless (sorry to mention but she said pulsar) shes never gonna sit.. haha.. evry useless guy around has a pulsar.. thts wht she said.. ny ways i nvr had in mind to buy pulsar.. bt still wanted to know wht she liked.. and surprisngly... most girls these days like r15 and fz.. boley to totally macho look... bcoz they r not concerned wht bhp or cc it has... mileage iam nt the rgt person to say..but i get some were around 35 and i dont have ny problem with it bcoz i really drag it hard.... racing all the time.. giving taste of yamaha racing dna.. to hamara bajaj auto wala pulsar.. honda just sitting and njoying the quality.. and karizma lost in storms with hritik.. and if some one is 45 defently he has not purchased it for him self.. might be of his son.. whoz feeling jelous when he takes his girl sitting at back.. so his got to handle with saree.. and sticking his balls to tank...

y not just while your about to turn.. shift you foot a bit back.. pushing the foot rest back a bit back or it will touch the ground.. and bike can skid.. shift your knee and body out to make perfect balance... and there ur with ur toes and knees grinding on the road... try keeping your toes above gear shift padle.. or it hurts very badly trust me.. its only possible on left curves.. as on right the exaust touches...

                            • Sorry guys to interrupt your conversation. Currently I own a RTR 160, which is good for carrying three of us (Me+wify+mykid,age1.6yrs) in city limit. Now the problem is that, I am kind of bore with the RTR and the main cause is the lack of DC lighting. I have decided to buy a FZ-S in coming October, do you guys think FZ can handle our load and will be OK with monocross suspension, I mean in my RTR, I never face bottom out when riding with my two pillions. Do you guys face bottom out with FZ? And what millage should I expect from FZ in city?

Last question: Do you think it will be a wise idea to switch to FZ from RTR?
