    oh he just missed 140... As i always say 140 is not that much difficult to attain on an FZ if you have a super speedo error... even i heard from my friend that his R15 showed 190 kmph and he quickly got rid of that... simple... Yamaha is atleats making the speed on the speedo... LOL :P

        er..i dont get this,really.
        you mean there isnt any error when we do 100?
        avg. error compared to a GPS is around 10km for the FZ....i have personally touched 127 on my bike and so have others...this dude gained 10 more kms after a lot of struggling...what so unbelievable?many FZians have crossed 130 btw.

            I had done the exact thing on my bike during run in. Drove for about 9 kms. Like u said the fuel would have been wasted. But apart from that there should be nothing harmful to the bike.

            But its how fast you get up, that matters.....

              I see where I went wrong. I viewed the video with a pre-meditated bias that 139 is impossible on this bike. Partly with my own experience of hitting just 110 top speed (and might I add it took a decent length of NICE road for it to reach 110). Once my mind has a bias I doubt everything . Which is why I thought the bike was elevated and that the acceleration was phenomenal I calculated in youtube. 0-60 in 6 sec and 0-100 in 14 which is normal for a 150cc bike.
              Oh and I didnt know it was in Argentina as I saw it from the thread itself and I distinctly heard "Gaadi start" at the beginning of the vid (or did I imagine that too??)

              But I kinda still inclined towards fake. Coz at 120+ speeds I wouldnt (or know anyone who would) place his hands on the speedo just to make sure there wasnt a glare on it. Both my hands would be firmly on the handlebars. (I wish it was the right hand on the speedo, we could've settled this once and for all )

                Gold alloys look decent. Hope they are better than the black ones

                  now that's a surprise..i have NEVER struggled to reach 110...in fact i do it every now and then(not only on highways)! from 120 onwards i have to crouch and have a decent stretch to progress though.

                    the quality of paint job is good though and i agree the scheme is better than the old one.
                    but everyone pls do remember that the spares availability is a pain in the back for the LE's!

                              Rightly said. It can easily surpass 110. Effort from the rider is needed if you need to go further.
