Yeah , Yamaha offers different colour LEDs as accessories for FZ and R15.
I had gone for white LEDs for my Fazer. The first one lasted a week only.
My mechanic said that it got shorted.!!

Now nobody is willing to splurge on those expensive LEDs each week....

My advice is to stay away from these LEDs which is a money making scheme,
though other accessories offered by Yamaha are of excellent quality and I can vouch for them.

yep its 500bucks. it worked for about 3months i guess and was gone !!
waste of money. LEDs need proper current flow for them to last long. mine kept fluctuating. i dint see any improvement on the battery front when i used the LED. Yamaha claims three times brighter and three times more energy efficient but i guess that is horseshit. you get a battery for 800rs !!

yes it does. more the load the more engine has to work to maintain the speed. if i drive single i get 45kmpl with pillion i get 38-42kmpl.

rev the engine and tell me if the brightness of the light fluctuates.
i think my wiring is screwed. cause it happens to me.

Yup.. its not supposed to. will try it out and let u know.

Question:

It has been 3000 kms with full-synthetic oil... how many kms does it last? Do I have to change it now? I think it was 4-5 thousand kms but I dont remember the change interval exactly. some help would be appreciated.

according to the manual the oil is to be changed every 3k kms.
here is the standard rule
if mineral oil runs for X kms
semi-synthetic runs for X x 1.5 times
and synthetic runs for X x 2 times.

meaning if mineral is suppose to be changed for 3k kms
semi synthetic is supposed be changed @ 4.5kms
and synthetic is suppose to be changed @ 6k kms.

but some say synthetic oil can run for even 10k kms.

Hi guys, my fren's bike got a strange problem. The bike starts with ease in the morning.. or when the bike is cooled. But after riding for 4-5 kms, if the engine is stopped and if he wants to start again, his bike won't start... He has to wait for the engine to cool down and then the self works... Strange problem that he has got! What may be the issue.. plz help

I had bought some white LEDs for about 50 bucks each.
Rs.10 is insane dude...!!! Where do you get them from?

haven't tried it personally...
but i've seen a Fazer with HID in Vashi... crazy glare everywhere...
lit up everything in front of it perfectly tho.

the guy had an irritating 8000K setup...
blueish-white light... would have been even more effective at 4300K.

Dunno about the pilot lamp, but this does happen on my high/low beam (I have a fazer). Should I be worried :|

i use motul oil done just 300 km with it i lube the chain every 2 weeks i have doubts on the spark plug cos the bike some time back just stopped suddenly 3 times , i havent checked the airfilter as well

No! the lamp does not fluctuates. But, if you turn ON Headlight or Pilot lamp and then start the engine then it fluctuates till the engine starts and that is totally normal.
