Got my bike after last free service. Still as good as brand new. Chain at the end stage, needing replacement, but out of stock. It will take 20 days if I book a set. They removed and cleaned and lubed the chain and sprockets. It will last for another 3k km according to them, but is noisy.
Total billl amount 365. 220 for oil, 35 for clutch return spring and 100 labor for chain cleaning and lubing.#RetiredRider

hey thanks Kinshuk I'll check the battery first before changing the horn. And sorry for posting this so late but you had asked me to attach a pic of the mud guard attachment in earlier post so i am attaching it...Originally posted by kinshuk.arya View Posti dont think the warranty will be void if you are using the same specification horn dont change the output value.....
and if it is changing sound with either brake or head lights on i suggest you to get your battery checked before changing the horn....

see if you have to use a relay for the horns most probably it will void the warranty as you dont have to use a relay with the normal specs horn....Originally posted by Yamaha FZ View Posthey can you please tell me some description of your horn means does it comes with a relay? regarding a constant output of sound FZ16 is a fully dc bike and not like the older bikes where the output varies with revolutions....Timon: Orange Yamaha FZ16 2009

Mine is a Bosch Symphony 5 Amp horn connected via relay and fuse wired by myself. No deterioration in any condition. Fixed it second day itself and it has been 9 months and 17k km. No issues at all.Originally posted by Yamaha FZ View Posthey can you please tell me some description of your horn means does it comes with a relay? None of the electrical components in FZ is covered under warranty. So anything and everything is under own risk. Confirmed with customer care before even purchasing my bikeOriginally posted by kinshuk.arya View Postsee if you have to use a relay for the horns most probably it will void the warranty as you dont have to use a relay with the normal specs horn....

. Only issue will be in case when claiming warranty for battery as they won't give warranty for battery if any extra electircal load is there other than stock. My entire setup is plug and play, not even a single cut and can revert back to stock setup in 5 minutes even without removing the horn and its well concealed inside the tank panel. In case I need to claim warramty I have to go to one dealer and confirm the battery is dead and go home and swap the connection and go to the other dealer and get letter confirming its dead and I am eligible for warranty repalcement and go to battery dealer and get it repalced.
Edit: Warranty covered for manufacturing defect.Last edited by deville_56; 09-18-2010, 01:08 AM.#RetiredRider

Check out the tuning threads on this forum.. It is very weird thoughOriginally posted by hemantbetala View PostPlease help....
EDIT: u should have bitten the head off of the Yamaha guy dude.. 100 ml would look like a LOT of spill. Try taking it to him n telling him ur problem... though i m not sure the oil spill was the reason for this.
Q: Was the petrol abt to go to reserve when this happened?Last edited by s_and_m; 09-18-2010, 01:30 AM.

Guys my tyre woes just seem have no end ... back to the drawing board . losing air as usual ... got the rim , valves , beading and punctures checked ... still no indication of what the problem is ...
Now i guess i have to lose the tubeless advantage and put a tube on the front ... is this ok?, the rear tyre seems to be losing air coz of a puncture leak which i can get fixed ... now can i put a tube in only at the front , will that affect the balance , handling ???
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com
