im doing 6k rpm im a newbe can u tell me how n wat is carb setting is it the ideling screw i checked the airfilter n got it cleaned spark plug any sugessions which 1 is goodOriginally posted by dude_phenom View PostA bit more info would be helpful. 70s is too low a top speed. The bike doesnt go above it is really surprising. What rpm are u doing at that speed.
Check your carb setting too in addition to spark plug and air filter. As I gaze upon your beauty, I think to myself, "never have I seen an angel fly so low".

70kmph at 6000 will be in the 4th gear....Originally posted by fusioncoast View Postim doing 6k rpm im a newbe can u tell me how n wat is carb setting is it the ideling screw i checked the airfilter n got it cleaned spark plug any sugessions which 1 is good
the carb setting is usually changed with the help of a golden colored(if i am not wrong) screw on the carb. it changes the way your bike behaves as in more on power and less on mileage or vice versa.... and is done usually by hit and trial.... if you are a newbie i wouldnt suggest you to change the carb setting by yourself take it to the svc.... and as per the spark plug the stock is NGK and is good enough for the bike otherwise you can also go for an NGK iridium spark plug for the bike..Timon: Orange Yamaha FZ16 2009

yeah you can get those panels from the yamaha showroom itself if they are available (might not be available because of shortage of supply of spare parts). in delhi you can try out in karol bagh or somewhere where you get two wheeler spare parts.Originally posted by raulsmile89 View Post..

but you might face some problem in re registering your bike because of color change i will recommend you to first get the bike re registered in your name in MP and then go for color change. if you want to do it legally you will have to again make some rounds to rto to get the description of the vehicle changed in the rc book.
search for the name Kinshuk Arya on facebook

hey guys my FZ clocked 700 KM in 20 days
.... Getting ready for First service in couple of days... I am planning to buy Engine oil and oil filter separately from a shop and then will be giving it to the SVC for changing it
. I am staying at the SVC till my bike gets serviced in front of me so that any after service issues will be avoided
.
I will be be using Yamalube 4-Stroke Oil - 20W50
But oil change with filter requires 1.2L of oil and the oil can consists 1.0L. So how can I manage this??
