Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Bar end weights are there to dampen vibrations in the handle-bar.Originally posted by Kartik Shetty View PostAnother question was that what is the use of plastic end weights?
The plastic ones in fz do their job pretty good. Take one off and see the difference. There will be slight buzz in your hands.
Ride safe and have fun.

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
For projectors u need to open up the headlight assembly, which if not done properly leads to water accumulation in head light & sometimes water vapor formation during rains.... Moreover fitting projectors on halogens is useless cause it reduces the light strength even more... My suggestion is to get a china made HID kit cause most of the time it works.. It'll hardly cost you 4k.... One of my friend is using it since 3mnths...Originally posted by Anunay View PostHello guys, please suggest me way for better illumination of my headlamp. Pictures I'll have to ask my friend...Originally posted by Anunay View PostWhats the difference in HID kit and projector?Cost? and can u share some pics. Thanks.
HID is the bulb & kit and projectors are needed to place the light on road without distortion... Projectors focus the light to road since stock reflectors fail to handle the power of HiD.

Yes it all depends on the temperature in K's but my suggestion is to first upgrade to philps halogen bulbs as I've read its good... Senior member please correct me on this one. It only costs 600₹ i thinkOriginally posted by Anunay View PostThanks bro, i want yellowish light and not the blue one. So is there anyway to check it online , any kind of rating?

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Best would be to get 55/60w bulb. Has much better illumination than the stock bulb. Normal bulb would cost some ₹100. If you want even better, try Philips xtreme vision.
Get H4 bulb, direct fit and has no adverse affect on the battery.
Way less hassle and cost friendly than installing a HID with projector.
HID's should never be used without a projector. The stock reflector will make the light reflect randomly and make oncoming traffic blind.
Ride safe and have fun.

I have been using Bosch 55/60w bulb for more than 2 years now and pretty happy with it.Originally posted by Anunay View PostI m using a rs 100 bulb, 55/60w, but no changes in beam throw, i will check philips bulb, i have heard about that. You should try Philips or Osram bulbs. They cost some ₹500-600.
