No need to replace any part...The carburetor slide is touching the lower part of Carb Venturi ..this is normal. The whole slide is made of hardened Aluminum and surface is Anodized . What you see as bright silver colored wear is the anodized part is lost through use. This will not in any way cause any problem or reduce bike performance. Still if you want, you can change just the slide with the rubber skirt on top, which should be available with the SVC. This is more common in Karizma, and most riders ignore and ride on...in fact in some cases the slide used to get stuck, and RPM will not rise above 5,000. A tap with the back of the screw driver on the carb body will release it..and soon the problem goes away....
The whole Slide with the Rubber skirt will cost you roughly Rs.600/- in case you want to change it...but not necessary in my humble opinion.
    Good Luck

Sir, thank you for your view and opinion. The issue is that, when the bike is running, suddenly it feels like the fuel supply has cut off and the bike jerks forward, almost like front hard braking. Is this because of the wear and tear or some other issue?
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

If due to wear the slide is getting stuck then engine will not be able to rev above 4~5 K RPM under standard riding condition...do not test for the RPM range while bike is parked..... Jerking and feeling of lack of petrol are some of the symptoms caused by lean running...You can trouble shoot this way...

        1. Ensure you have adequate petrol before test and warm up the engine .
        2. Check if Choke is operating properly and not jammed.
        3. Open Air Filter box and check Air Filter for any tear or opening, allowing more than normal amount of air.
        4. Check your spark plug for correct Gap and signs of lean AFR ie., whitish color.
        5. If you know how to service a carburetor, then take it out of engine, and blow WD40 through the Main and PILOT jet.
        6. Check for any hole or tear in the Carburetor mounting rubber piece "Insulator" .
        7. Check if there is any hole in the Slide Rubber skirt...This will also give similar symptom as stuck slide.
        8. Check for any other Vacuum leak by checking the Vacuum tube to SAI unit etc.,

If everything checks out, then suspect slide getting stuck...for this when you remove the carburetor, use soft Scotch Brite and using any soap solution, gently wipe the slide surface clean and dry before assembly.
Try using 1ml of Castrol 2 T oil per liter of Petrol which will lube the slide movement. this will not cause smoke, or carbon formation in cylinder. Castrol 2T used PIB which is good for combustion...

When you raise an issue and need an opinion online, it'll be helpful to others if you specify Current ODO reading, and ODO since last service.

            1. Interesting that you didn't ask the service-personnel when they said air filter plug needs replacement. I can only guess it's related to water drainage from air-filter chamber. I've one in Dio's air-filter chamber.
            2. The handle wobble is most likely the worn/loose cone-set issue. Worn cone-set coupled with higher front-wheel air-pressure makes handle wobble.

Thank you for the advice I'll mention it the next time if I have any problem .I'll ask them to check for the cone set.

Buddy.. nothing serious about that thud sound. Dont worry about mileage. Rock solid 35kmpl it should give in any condition. At 4.5k rpm if its 60kmph, perfectly fine. Engine sound is smooth? Tyres alignment are fine? Chains and sprocket are ok? Just check these. Rest of the things nothing to worry. Enjoy your FZ . There is no other 150cc naked fun giving bike like this in market.
