Painting of rims shouldn't cost more than 2k. And keep one thing in mind, paint on alloys doesn't stay for long and it would be a waste of money.
As for stickers and wraps, go to any sticker shop as ask them for the designs. These are also cheap.Hi guys,Originally posted by devils_friend View PostYou are chaging the original colour lf the bike by wrapping it and for the same, you will need to change the colour in your RC book as well.
10k is simply rip off. What work are they going to do on front suspension and the exhaust?
Coloring the alloys generally costs 2k-2.5k.
Thanks for your thoughts. I had a feeling 10k is too much. Glad you guys confirmed it. For the forks and exhaust they were gonna use matching decals.

Avoid it. It is a rip off. 10k just for stickers?? 😯 Search a bit and you will find much better deal.Originally posted by thewanderer85 View PostHi guys,

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Hi guys,
I need a help in choosing my fzs head light. The stock has the warm toned bulb which doesn't really have that much of a long sight for me.. I m planning on buying the Philip h4 xtreme vision bulb which is white toned one. But when I enquired about this with my friend he said the xtreme vision will give you a good long sight but whenever a warm toned light approaches it will eat away all your white light, so it is better to get the warm toned bulb for long rides. Please help me in selecting.. i m confused

Guys, I am tired of fzs handlebars getting bent even on minor spills , thinking about going for aftermarket Handlebars. Has anybody tried aftermarket bars on Fz16 what would be the cost and how far it will affect the handling also share any pics of the FZ with aftermarket bars. I have seen few on the streets in various colors not sure of their quality though. Kindly help.

If I put the key in and use self start nothing happens. What could be the problem mechanic cleaned the whole switch set and I also used rust removal spray too, but the self doesnt seem to work properly as it was before. Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Hey Friends,
My Bike has been 3.5 years Old ODO 22,00 and the work major work done till date is
1. Clutch Plates changed last year but next month I will be going to change the clutch plates again as Yamaha SVC told me to change it because it is gone ( I font the reason when I asked he said you ride in Delhi and use of clutch is more as in Delhi traffic)Using MOTUL 7100 40-50W
2. Chain Set changed last year with odo of 16,000
3. Battery Changed to Amaron last year.
Now My question is whenever I asked Service center to inspect properly my bike he just simple says that your engine is prefect and doesn't need to change or adjustment.
My bike have started behaving
1. Engine sound is more aggressive as like piston is hitting but checked through SVS they said it's due to clutch plates ,changing clutch plate it will be normal.
2. I always say to check timming and other adjustment on engine which need to be done in every 1-2 year but SVS says no( I think they just want to save their time)
Please Could any one tell me what are the adjustment and changes which is need to be done. Even I didn't change left Fork Oil for last 3.5 years. Please list out the work which is to be done necessary. I am ready to spend around 10k for the maintenance of the bike.
No other work has done till date only wear and tear parts like bike shoes and disc pad and engine oil changed

Either your riding style is really bad or the svc mechanic is making a fool out of you. The reason given of riding in Delhi traffic is bulls**t.Originally posted by bikashnayak View PostHey Friends,

Clutch plates are not something which needs frequent replacement. Most people get more than 50k kms before any need of their replacement. Check with other svc or any good mechanic on this before going ahead with the work.
Ride safe and have fun.
