Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
I am also a proud owner of my Yamaha Fazer v1 which I have done lots of trip (Kolkata-Gurudongmar Lake-Kolkata, Kolkata-Puri-Kolkata). Fazer is comfortable yet parts are cheap and looker of the segment until gixxer launched.Originally posted by avithe1 View PostNo , no, its the gallery of my bike when I bought it (its first day).
New bike not yet decided.
I prefer you can go with CBR250R ABS.Regards

Yes CBR250R is an all time fav/proven tourer and is number 1 in the list when it comes to practicality.
But I feel it is a bit dated now. If investing so much money and intending to keep the bike for about 5 years I would prefer a fresh bike, I guess you would agree , no?
But lets not go into that debate , I will post in some proper thread probably in "Which/What bike"?
I just want to say that Fazer v1 has been a beautiful experience (and still is) , I assume v2 would be even better considering that:
-its FI
-its got a better pillion seat than what I have (less complains by our female companions)
-Improved looks
The only point I don't like in v2 is the rear tyre hugging mudguard.

Need a new front tyre
Hello folks! I'm in the market for a front tyre - fz16 v1. Requirement is mostly city riding, need it to be good value for money. Please suggest some options, and also places that have it in stock. I'm in Pune, checked out one place and they don't have the stock mrf ones, or even the correct sized ones.

I find the Michelin pilot tires better in terms of grip on my D200, as they are soft compound and i have done little bit off-roading also on them as compared to the stock MRF's.No replacement for an engine Displacement

Re: Need a new front tyre
This is pilot sporty, wrongly mentioned as sirac street. Pilot street available only 110/70 for front and costs 4k plus or minus a couple of hundreds. Sporty is a must avoid tyre, wet grip is terrible. Street is a gem of a tyre.Originally posted by saikatbyte View PostMichelin Sirac Street 100/80 R17 Tubeless Bike Tyre(Pickup and Installation at Garage): Amazon.in: Car & Motorbike

Re: Need a new front tyre
Going by vfm, stock mrf is the best alrounder option. Check with Yamaha dealers. Try Honda dealer for hornet/CBR 150 front tyres. Other budget tyres are terrible when it comes to wet grip.Originally posted by s_and_m View PostHello folks! I'm in the market for a front tyre - fz16 v1. Re: Need a new front tyre
No no sir ji , in the case of online buying its always the other way round. The text is always correct but the image may be wrong.Originally posted by deville_56 View PostThis is pilot sporty, wrongly mentioned as sirac street...
Preference is always given to the name of the item rather than the image accompanying. (sometimes low res or even non-existent
)

Sirac Street is a button type commuter tyre available in 18 inch only, so title itself is wrongOriginally posted by curve_king View PostNo no sir ji , in the case of online buying its always the other way round. The text is always correct but the image may be wrong.

Description and image is of Pilot Sporty only. Full jumbled
