    Fz16 engine smell problem.

    I have a 2011 fz16 and I have clocked 25000 till now. I maintain it regularly and keep oil level in check regularly. I did a jaisalmer ride and my bike did fine, never gave a problem. But now some burning smell comes from my engine after 2-3kms of riding. I checked my oil level and it's fine. My mechanic said it's valve problem. Please suggest me people.

      Hi guys
      I changed the bore and piston before two months
      For the last few weeks a tic tic sound is coming wen the bike is at idel speed but can't be heard when I'm driving the svc mechanics where not able to find out the problem please help me to rectify the problem guys I have also changed the timing chain
      But still the problem persists the svc mechanics said the valve seating Is also good

        Hold the clutch and see if the sound persists. Maybe the clutch bell.

            its the tappets or the roller bearing, adjust using feeler gauge. OE clearances

              Also tell your mechanic to check the charging coil cause in my case that was the reason for the sound...

                Hello everyone,
                Have seen this Rear seat Mod (R15) on FZ-S today on some sites,
                Can someOne tell me that
                1) this mod can be done on FZ-S without any welding or cutting process?
                2) is rear seat comfortable or not?
                3) how much it cost (only split seat mod)

                Sorry for any mistakes, because i m new to xBHP....! 🙋

                            6k that's way too low. I had changed the pads on my bike at around 21 and they still had some life in them. If you ride with a finger or two on the brake lever, then also this might happen.

                            Even though I use front disc more, still the rear brake shoe have been changed 4 times in 35k kms, while front pads are on their second pair.

                              Hi guys today wen I gave full throttle in neutral after washing my bike black smoke started to come at high rpm
                              I have changed to new bore and piston four months back and have run about 8563 kilometres
                              What might be the problem is the bore gone
                              And my driving style is normal
                              I don't rash drive the bike
                              Please tell me what might be the cause of the black smoke
