Re: LCD always on
Need your help since you've a lot of experience with fz. I have bought a brand new rolon set for fz. The problem is that i can still hear chain noise from the chain as if its banging against something. This used to happen with the older chain so changed it. What can be done? Even tried lubricating with ep90 & chain spray.Originally posted by deville_56 View PostOkay. 2008-2009 model had them always ON.

Re: LCD always on
Changed the damper clutch?? Worn ones hamper with rear sprocket alignment causing slight unnoticeable wobbling. This will cause highly variable chain slack. Even if you adjust proper slack at tightest position, chain tends to be loose at some position during rotation, causing it to hit on the swingarm. Also, too much of gear oil can cause chain noise.Originally posted by Kartik Shetty View PostNeed your help since you've a lot of experience with fz. I have bought a brand new rolon set for fz. Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
After riding Bike for some time, when i switch off the engine, the "tik tik" sound is coming from the engine.
today as my friend is riding behind me, he said to my rear tire is not align, means he say tire is not rotating at 90 degree,
is that happen??
while changing gear, sound is coming from the toe shifter and as well as from the chain, please tell me why?
thanks.

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
This sound is not from the engine, but is due to the rapid cooling of the catalytic converter. No need to worry.Originally posted by ackinbiker View PostAfter riding Bike for some time, when i switch off the engine, the "tik tik" sound is coming from the engine.
Ride safe and have fun.

- The tik tik sound is from the catcon(Catalytic converter). The sound is due to the cooling of the catcon. No need to worry it is normal.
- Tell your friend to ride the bike in a straight line and You can stay behind him in another bike and watch whether both the front and rear wheels are aligned in a straight line if they are not aligned properly then you frame might have a bend. Please check this and come back to us.
- When did you change the engine oil?. Please also check whether the chain is having the right amount of stackness.
Cheers

Never experienced it, though keep an eye on air pressure in both the tyres.Originally posted by snehith View PostMy fzs has clocked around 20,000 km.Changed the tyres recently.my bike starts wobbling after crossing 65kmph.I've gone to the svc n they say there's a problem with the front tyre and no problem with the bike.got the front tyre replaced again but it still wobbles.the svc guys are not able to solve it.what may be the reason for the wobble? anyone experienced it?Bilal Ahmed
