Brother thanks for your valuable advice but I am still in confusion as the bike did not show any problem after replacing the battery and my current odo is around 700kms and I face the problem after 67+kms on odo

        Update :
My bike is 2011yr model. 28k kms
Last oil change was done 1700kms ago.
        Is this tappet noise?
The sound is audible at 2-3k rpms and gradually decreases or my ears get used to it (can't figure that out)

Hi All. A few days ago I changed the front disc pads of my Yamaha Fz. However after fitting back the caliper on the rotor it was extremely difficult to move the bike as the front tire rotor was stuck between the two pads. I was however able to start the bike and take it forward but after riding for a while noticed that the rotor and caliper became extremely hot. While fitting the new pads I had pushed back the caliper pistons back. I had even bleeded the brake fluid. Immediately after fitting the caliper the front tire moved freely but after pressing the brake lever a few times the rotor got jammed between the pads. I guess the pistons are not moving freely. However after fitting back the old slightly worn out brake pads everything was wotking properly. Please shed some light on what is to be done. I had cleaned the caliper and pistons with a brush before adding the new pads.

Please help with the above query

I have a 2010 FZ16 which is being brought back to life.

I have a question ... can the FZS 2.0 components be fixed onto the FZ16.

            1. Tail lamp assembly
            2. Console Assembly (Odo etc)
            3. Headlight

Has anyone installed kickrod onto these machines which came without kick-rod.
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

Hope you are fitting the Brake Pads properly. Looks like the Master Cylinder kit has gone kaput. Replace it and things should be normal.
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

I have some serious doubts regarding my bike please clarify them
                  1. After riding for nearly 60+ kms my bike refuses to start and went straight to SVC and found battery is dead, but i requested them to check the alternator bus coupler and the charging cable. But they said everything is OK and replaced it with a new one
2.My bike is pure black and a good scratchmagnet.is there any coating available to get rid of that.
3.I did an up and down stretch of nearly 270 kms under 4000rpm and speeds varying between 40 to 60. Is there any problem in doing that.
4.My brother once did 100kmph and ran it a few kms above 70s during run in period, he has an habit of shifting gears at high rpms.any problems can I face in near future by this act
5.Recently while doing a turning by pressing the clutch I hear a "glisss" sound from my rear wheel can you tell me what's the problem
6.Can I add any LEDs to my existing battery

No issues, run for some days and check it.

2.My bike is pure black and a good scratchmagnet.is there any coating available to get rid of that.
No Coating is available, no matter what any company or dealership says, all you can do is park it in shade, get a bike cover use it whenever you can go, dont wipe dust with regular cloth or dry cloth always use either a wash or a most cloth to do the same, use Carnauba wax regularly at least once a month to keep the shine for long.

3.I did an up and down stretch of nearly 270 kms under 4000rpm and speeds varying between 40 to 60. Is there any problem in doing that.
                    No Issues, relax.

Cant comment untill we hear the sound. Try doing it again and see if the sound is coming, if the sound is consistent take it to a mechanic.

6.Can I add any LEDs to my existing battery
FZ has a 12V battery with a 5Amp per Hour rating, that means you can use a total load of 60W at any given time without any issue, out of all the electricals Headlight is 35W, indicators are 5W each, horn is another 5W, rear light is 10W (If I am not wrong). If you are talking about the regular LED strip and the small LEDs it shouldnt be a problem, but if you are thinking of adding powerful LED headlights you need to check the rating of the LED.

I dont think any issues will be there for this config.

Hey devils_friend...thanks for the reply...yes i have fitted the pads properly...will look into rebuilding the master cylinder... What i feel is that the caliper pistons arent moving that freely maybe due to rust...maybe i should remove them and check...thoughts?
