25.5k on the odo, still on the stock tyres and I've had to fix only 3 punctures till date, of which 2 were in the same spot. There has been a nail in the tyre for over a year now, but luckily, there's no air leaking from it

All punctures were like an inch adrift from the dead centre and nothing in the groove.

How long do the stock batteries last? Mine is showing signs of a close death. The self start doesn't work in the mornings. Even at other times, when i try with the headlights on, the light dims and the bike may or may not crank up.

Unlike most other parts, the battery life is primarily measured in years or time period of usage (w.r.t. to the manufacturing date). Amaron claims a life of 3 yrs while the Exide one went good for almost 2 years in mine. If your duration is lesser than these, do check the wirings. Morning problems may be cold start (carb). It is advisable to turn off the headlight before starting, not sure but I've been following the same for long now.

Bike will turn 4 in two months time and since the battery is the stock one, it should be around the same age. And I do turn the headlights off before cranking. Was checking to see if the issue was with the battery or the self starter switch/circuit.

Also, forgot to mention, when it the self start does not start, I the warning light comes up on the console and goes a second after i let go of the self start switch.

Not too much of a problem as of now, because mine has a kickstart and the issue is only with the cold starts. The self start works fine at signals and stuff.

Should I try getting the battery charged or get a new one altogether? If the latter, how much does it cost ?

If the engine light/indicator is showing signs of blinking or going on & off, there are chances that it might be the battery. Open and check the battery top for manufacturer details - it will be mostly faded. In any case, 4 yrs is sufficient service rendered by the battery. Consult and change if possible. The rate of new one (wet) is close to ~1300/- INR.

Since mine doesn't have a kick-start, it is highly relieving to have a healthy battery instead of push-starting.

The first known bike that I have seen here, after coming to Argentina, is an FZ16...

Could not stop sharing the feeling of joy with you guys to see these beasts roaming around in this part of earth also...

Its a weak battery and it will be dead pretty soon. I had the same issue in march/april of engine light coming with no crank. Change the battery and it will be fine.

Being an owner of a Fazer, the feeling was rather like seeing a family member in foreign land, whom I'm missing here for so long

Disc Pad worn out faster than the previous ones. This one lasted only 3k kms whereas the previous one lasted for 17k. What could be the reasons for this fast wear? My usage is same.

My rear tyre seems to be slipping a lot in curves and corners.The tyre is just 10k kms old never felt it earlier what could be wrong.
