I think you've gotten it wrong, It's Dagrex, and even KRP has some aftermarket FZ exhausts iirc, and Daytona is a company that manufactures Dagrex Exhaust

You're right, nadz. Numerous posts go unnoticed, and people continue to go in the flow of the thread. Some posts go unnoticed. Important topics will be merged within the thread, add ons will be separate so that it gets individual attention on an asap basis, so that it comes in handy just in case if someone require so.

      I ate the 'G'

I didn't knew about KRP making exhausts for fz series. Thanks for the info.

Should i replace my spark plugs at 12000 KMs? manual suggests replacing spark plugs every 12k KMs.

Incase replacement is required, should i get the stock plug again or buy NGK iridium plugs (without spitfire cables or K&N filter)?

what's the price of stock spark plug?

Go for stock Spark Plug. NGK plugs don't have any significant advantage over stock ones and with the price you pay for NGK, stock plug can be replaced 4-5 times. Same goes for K&N filter also.

Spark Plug costs Rs. 115. Changing the plug when recommended will help you over long run and in turn will keep the engine healthy.

Spark Plug : stock ones are sufficient. If you can stretch a little, for efficient spark get G-Power equivalent by paying Rs 50/- more.
            Air-Filter : Stock (only)
            Cables-Cap : If damaged.

The fuel tap is leaking now .But last time made a mistake of buying it in a local shop didnt come in yamaha packaging.A different mechanic insists of changing the tap again but from yamaha spares . But SVC out of stock what to do avoid the leak until Svc gets it stock back

Thats how it is. People face punctures often or many at one time. I had 6 punctures in one go after completing 17k kms, till then it was going steady with just one puncture.

True the previous tyre was also changed due to a puncture which was beyond repair (really big hole).
With a total of 5 punctures now at 7k kms, i doubt it would be able to complete even 15k kms. It would be dangerous if anymore happen.

How many kms does oil seal of forks of fz last.Mine has started leaking just at around 7 kms.Its not that bad but leaks a little.
Should I go for oil seal replacement?

Mechanic says I can use it for few k kms but there is chance of scratch of inner tube of the fork.

Change the tyre. IMO, don't ride with so many punctures.

Solely depends on how you ride. You can use it, but the handling will be affected. Also, if you plan to ride with a leak, buy the oil seals and keep it with you, they run out of stock easily and one will have a hard time to find it.

I don't think changing the tyre is the right option. There is not danger in riding with 5 to 6 punctures in a tubeless tyre. In fact when I was riding on stock tyres. I had upto 10 punctures which was not sealed. I got so fed up patching up the punctures. I just left them there. But I was filling air everyday since I had the electrical air pump. The only problem that is dangerous is when the puncture happens in the side wall. If it is in the contact area it will not cause any problem only for loss of air pressure. I think don't worry much about the punctures but make it a point to atleast check the tyres for further punctures every week. Since I have changed to PSD(even though soft compound) it has only about 4 punctures and the kms covered is 18K. The threads are also good maybe for another 7-8K.

                          Cheers

The tyre is more prone to punctures in the same area where chicken strips are there. So, the tyre will loose pressure gradually and it is hard to detect from where the pressure loss happens. I got my tyre checked 4 times before finding from where was the air leaking.

If changing tyre is an expensive option, one can opt for fitting a tube in it. But, it becomes more hassle to fix that.

Checking leaks are very easy. First clean the tyre using water. Then scrub the tyre using a shoe polishing brush(Since they are soft). Then spray water mixed with shampoo. Then once again scrub the tyre to make the soapy solution froth. Then leave it for about 30 seconds. Then slowly rotate the wheel. Where there is a leak lots of bubbles will be formed clearly indicating the puncture.

                              P.S - Requires little patiences

The punctures in my case are on the patch just besides the center line and are in the groves. Just the one that isn't been fixed yet is on the upper surface exactly in the center. Won't be changing the tyre as of now (money crunch) but will if a couple of more happen and also have to change the front one first. Its still stock one at 284xx kms.

I do check for punctures whenever i wash the bike with water n soap mixture. I normally see the leaking air bubbles.

Also, i have been feeling slight vibs in handle bar for a week or so. It used to be very smooth. It causes fatigue in wrist n arms.
