Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
I bought the RC out of excitement but later realized it was not my cup of tea.. so sold it .. I needed a commuter bike .. didn't want to spend much .. wanted a machine which could serve me years to come with minimum maintenance .. test rode the FZS and Apache 160 .. fell in love with the FZ and went Yamaha this time .. what I have realized is Japanese bikes are playing in a different league ..Originally posted by Prithvirajmn8 View PostRC 390 to fzs 150?!
For vibrations check the drive chain, lubricate it within proper intervals, check tyre pressure and check rear wheel alignment.
I dont think there is a wheel alignment problem since this thing is there from the very beginning .. chain is being lubricated on time .. I have got it lubricated twice from the service center .. 1st was during the first service and 2nd was a few weeks ago .. I have a Michelin digital gauge to monitor the tyre pressure and I check it regularly .. now remaining thing is drive chain .. and maybe any part of the bike which might be vibrating? what do you suggest?
Thanks for taking the time for helping me

Every 600kms you have to clean the chain and lube it.Originally posted by vanp View PostI bought the RC out of excitement but later realized it was not my cup of tea.. so sold it .. Yes bro .. bike has run around 900kms .. lubricated it twice till now .. not a major issue though .. with the vibes .. another thing .. when do you suggest going full synthetic? I have short listed Motul 7100 10w40 .. heard it makes a differenceOriginally posted by Prithvirajmn8 View PostEvery 600kms you have to clean the chain and lube it.Bajaj Pulsar 180 - 2007 to 2015

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Has anyone here tested the 2018 FZ V2 FI (with the kick starter)? I'm sort of inclined to buying since the Unicorn 160 got discontinued and the I'm not a fan of the xBlade.[My Motorcycles]

What are your requirements?? Did you try the RTR 160 4v??Originally posted by Bismaya View PostHas anyone here tested the 2018 FZ V2 FI (with the kick starter)? I'm sort of inclined to buying since the Unicorn 160 got discontinued and the I'm not a fan of the xBlade.

Actually I'm set on FZ since it's the only one that fits my current budget (cheapest 150cc so far). The skinny wheels on SZ-RR were not inspiring at all.Originally posted by ayrus View PostWhat are your requirements?? Did you try the RTR 160 4v??[My Motorcycles]

Yeah, that's what I wanted to confirm (whether someone has taken a test ride of it or not). There were some battery issues from what I had heard (on rear disc variant FZ-S). Might as well just go with the normal FZ-Fi with rear drum. Best version and minimal if you ask me.Originally posted by Prithvirajmn8 View PostNew version fz have options to ad kicker[My Motorcycles]
