Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
You can use Michelin Pilot Street Radial as replacement for your rear tyre. They are available in 140/60 and 150/60 sizes. I use the 150 on my FZ and it's a perfect fit. Looks brilliant too. And I don't even need to speak about the grip levelsOriginally posted by Mizt View PostGuys which is the best rear tyre available in market now.People say Mrfs are bad but the 140/60 profile isnt available in any other brand. Please help as my Dunlop tuffgrip is worn out and has multiple punctures in the same places.

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
my speedometer light is not working when I turn on the headlights, if that is because of loose wires, which one should I adjust, please advise guys

I am working in night shifts, so I am unable to see the speed or Fuel meters at night rides.Last edited by Karthick britto:); 10-07-2016, 03:48 AM.karthick Britto :)

Spray WD40 in the switches, this thing happens during rainy season.Originally posted by Karthick britto:) View Postmy speedometer light is not working when I turn on the headlights, if that is because of loose wires, which one should I adjust, please advise guys

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Sorry, i didn't read that first time and i'm not a clutch rider. I also drive honda twister and it has clocked around 60 kms. Never changed clutch and even clutch wire. And to add up i service twister after 5k kms and that too at local shop and pour sunny deol engine oil. And i had never let any local person to touch fzs even for chain slack. My fzs clutch wire has broken two times in 30k kms. I doubt yamaha spare parts quality.Originally posted by RohIIT View PostIt shows you are a clutch rider.
Even the new chain set i bought had manufacturing defect since day one.

It's been 3 years running on the Dunlop Tuffgrip.. not a single puncture till date, still going strong & quite happy with it.Originally posted by Mizt View PostGuys which is the best rear tyre available in market now.People say Mrfs are bad but the 140/60 profile isnt available in any other brand. Please help as my Dunlop tuffgrip is worn out and has multiple punctures in the same places.
Check out Michelin Street Radial.. it's a good tyre too.
Hope it helps.A Bike makes you a Motorcyclist. Attitude makes you a Biker.

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Welcome to problematic world of fzs, these minor problem is normal for fzs because of poor quality control of yamaha. Try to ignore them and leave up with it. Just don't listen to svc do everything according to service book for long life of your bike. And xbhp is your friend everyone will help with your anytype of query.Originally posted by Prashant Kumar View PostYesterday bought band new fz 16 black colour, so proud.
