Let the parts breakin with more kms. If the noise from the rear increases, take it to svc.Originally posted by Prashant Kumar View Post

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Hi,
I have booked fzs-FI and planning to get delivery on diwali.
What thing I should take care after getting delivery.
Do you suggest any extra accessories to be fitted ?
And Should I pour normal petrol or premium petrol in it.

Congratulations on the booking.Originally posted by nil4you View PostHi,

Follow the manual for break-in and even after that. For per delivery inspection, check all the electrical parts, signs of rust and scratches. Nothing too serious.
I don't think any extra accessories are neend for this bike. Most people say its stock headlight is weak and get a 55/60w bulb. But that might affect the warranty.
Use normal fuel. There isn't anything special in premium fuel.
Ride safe and have fun.

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
My bike reaches @60kmph/4000rpm...Originally posted by deville_56 View PostIt's supposed to do that speed only. Mine does the same.
Didn't get the logic of changing clutch plates if bike reaches 4.5k rpm 60kmph.
If clutch is gone, speed won't pick up wrt to rpm. Engine hesitates to shut down in 2-3rd gear if you hold brake and release the clutch (old school way). Bite will be at end even with the best free play setting (unless a worn cable).
I have changed front sprocket...!!!rbr

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
If it's too hard than it is time to change the cable. But there is a work around most of the svc guys do they take the steel cable out of outer covering and peel of the plastic of it. And throttle twist will become butter smooth again.Originally posted by vignesh0707 View PostHow to adjust the twisting of throttle cable.. I feel it hard, plz help
