Every time i used Motul Semi synthetic oil for Fz-s. But this time the mechanic poured ELF Moto Gold 20W-40.

Before taking to him i checked my bike for any kind of smoke. It did not had any. And as soon as he poured i can see white smoke coming from my bike.

I had Joel FFE fitted for my bike 2 years ago. It was all good. Now i can see oil spills on my exhaust opening and at the starting of the muffler.

I am hearing a different sound from the engine. I think my Engine oil was over.

It is bought in 2012 and its odometer reading is 22k.

Please suggest me a mechanic or solution for this as soon as possible as my bike is getting worse day by day.

It's the visor from AS..... Photos attached.

It is surprisingly a great fit but a clean drill job is required for four additional holes to fit on the FZ. The visor has been attached primarily to the number plate clamp with two additional clamps at the sides fixed to the existing screw points on the fork.

The preexisting holes on the visor have been closed off with four chrome buttons from (from a splendor I think). A rubber strip has been used at the point where the visor touches the instrument panel - this is critical to eliminate the vibrations.

              Hope that helps.

I use motul 300v 15w50 in hot summer and motul 300v 10w40 in winter. Bike feels smoother than any of my frnd's fz's...

I think the mechanic had revved hard the cold engine and shows you white smoke. Nothing to worry if cold engine smokes white. If hot engine smoked, then there is a seriousissue with the Bore-kit, Piston & Piston Rings or may be Valve timings.

                        1. Get rid of the Race Concepts parts and fit back OE parts.
                        2. Set the valve clearance.
                        3. Replace piston rings and get a decarbonization done.
                        4. Replace all oil seals and gaskets.
                        5. Monitor the changes made with mineral oil (cheaper and suggested by manufacturer).

Later you can shift to fully synth if you wish but fully synth doesn't stop any smoke/oil leaks as it is.

Hi so I got mine bike as I said earlier I had booked.

So it has been around days and 727 km. in odo, as busy scheduled I gave bike today in service as I also feel by driving that I have completed run in period.

Now real question here in service guy said I need to change 3 things in every service.
                            1. Oil - 340 rs
                            2. Oil Filter - 40 rs
                            3. Chain spray - 130 rs

Local garage guy is chargin 80 rs. so as it's service center it's fine.

But I doubt of chain cleaning every time in service. Can some one suggest me what can be proper time interval ?

                            Thanks in advance.

Chain has to be cleaned and lubricated at every 500 kms (may be more frequently in case of rain or dusty areas). You can buy chain lube sprays Motul, 3M, Waxpol , Magsol etc. clean the chain with diesel and spray the lube yourself. SVC charges very high for chain lubrication.
