Ok gaurav but I can only spray it from over, but opening it and cleaning it with diesel it's not looking mine dish. Is it necessary to remove chain from vehicle and clean it Or if you have some good video ref. if it's necessary to do.

    Thanks.

No need to remove. Removing chain is heck of a job swing arm needs to be dismantled to pull out the chain. Use old tooth brush (or there r dedicated brushes for chain cleaning u can buy online) and clean from outside at rear sprocket. I generally do it before washing.

Try the Fazer Handlebar. It's marginally higher than the FZ one.

            5. Monitor the changes made with mineral oil (cheaper and suggested by manufacturer).

Later you can shift to fully synth if you wish but fully synth doesn't stop any smoke/oil leaks as it is.
Can anyone please suggest a good mechanic in Hyderabad who can do the above engine work and how much does the whole thing costs approximately???

Maybe @shoeb2015 can help w.r.t mechanics or SVCs in Hyderabad.

                1. Get rid of the Race Concepts parts and fit back OE parts. - FREE if you have stored the original parts
                2. Set the valve clearance. - Rs 50 to 100 depending upon labor charges.
                3. Replace piston rings and get a decarbonization done. - Just the rings + decarb should cost less than 1500 (including labor)
                4. Replace all oil seals and gaskets. - Rs 200
                5. Monitor the changes made with mineral oil (cheaper and suggested by manufacturer). - up to Rs 400/500.

Overall hit - roughly 2000-2200 approx (give or take a couple of 100s)

NOTE : If you plan a DIY (with a knowledgeable person along), you can save up to almost 500-800 rupees on this exercise.

You can rotate the handlebar to make it litle bit higher.

Has anyone tried rear sprocket 47Teeth from R15 v2? Can the stock chain accommodate this? I had seen 47T sprocket on FZ16 but don't have any further details. How much mileage drop is expected with this alteration?

The oil used was from Endurance. Don't know which grade. It wasn't mentioned on the bottle.

                              Hi ,

I'm in a similar situation here. One of my fork seals have puncture and there is oil leaking. SVC guy says that seals come in pairs of two and it would cost almost 2k including consumables and labor charges here in Bangalore.

So , did you replace Seals for both sides ? and you had it done in official SVC or someplace outside?

                              Thanks

Yes.. changed the seals and oil in both the forks. And got the work done in official svc.
The total cost including labour was what i had mentioned. 2k is too much. Check with anither svc.

                                Ride safe and have fun.
