This clearly seems like that from my observation.
Please tell them that this didn't have to do at all with racing or any other terms which can void warranty and ask them to replace them.
Better still drop a short mail about the issue to Yamaha India and they will surely look into it.

    Hi Anand

I have dropped a mail to yamaha, waiting for their reply.

Regarding the vibration issue, is it easily rectifiable ?

Guys, In addition to this clutch bell issue, My SVC told that my chain sprocket is kaput(8000KMS only) and they tricked me in changing the engine oil during fourth service which resulted in weird engine sounds.
Now i am using fully synthetic engine oil(Shell), now the weird noise is not present.
Will the chain sprocket get damaged this soon? And is fully synthetic oil good for the engine?

I took it to the closet local mechanic and he checked and saw that there was no mobile oil at all. The bike refused to start so i took it to another mechanic in meerut city (in sooti ganj which is a bike repairing market). The mechanic first changed the valves and then the piston. It cost me 2000rs. But the parts were not original. Now i drove it 60km at max 40-45kmph with 1 person only. And i felt the bike was heating and i suspected engine oil loss. Got it checked and found it very low. 500ml oil was refilled. Now the bike emits whitish smoke. I suppose the engine oil is burning. Even after piston replacement. I am very confused what to do. Please help. Also recommend me any good mechanic if u know in and around Muzaffarnagar, meerut or Ghaziabad. Thanks in advance.
Either take it to a recognised SVC in your area and get the entire engine kit replaced as recommended by them or sell it off.

I know a mechanic near Vaishali metro station. Good guy, but i don't know if he does Yamaha. You can check with him.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

        Hi
In general the stock chain sprockets provided should last about 12000 to 18000 (I changed at 13000, a Friend's lasted 22k kms, a person in the forum had his sprockets last 30k kms).
To some extent it depends on usage too and the slackness is adjustable.
However that being said its rather weird for chain to give up at 8000kms.
Full synthetic oil is good for the engine post 5000kms as the opinions varies from person to person although its no harm to continue using it.
Vibrations can be for several factors:
Few of them can be for loose bolts and nuts or from the engine end both of which needs to be inspected.
        Hope this solves the problem.
        Regards
        Ride safe.

        • Acceleration Decreased!! Yamaha Fazer 153cc!!

          Hello Friends/Folks,
I am Saikat from Kolkata, proud owner of Yamaha Fazer v1 153cc (2014, June Model). Recently I met an accident on 30th March, 2015. A car just rammed me near Golpark at the rear portion (silencer part) due to wet road braking failure of the car. I got injured in my left knee. My Yamaha is damaged almost every part (Front Headlight Assembly damaged, Gear Lever got stuck into 3rd, Side Main broken, Main Stand damaged, Silencer Portion totally cracked, Handle-Clutch lever damaged). I have done repairing from Yamaha Factory Shop, Kolkata. Bill was 6685 INR. Thanks to Iffco Tokio Motor Insurance, I got a major portion (approx 65%) covered from Insurance Claim. Now, from Yesterday I feel the acceleration is reduced quite majorly. The idle rpm after riding approx 30min is almost 1000 rpm (like a cold starting rpm). The bike is not pulling like earlier. After 85 kmph, bike is behaving like "you are straining engine unit" while previously it happens after 110 kmph. I can't recognize the problem. I checked the idle screw, it is set almost optimum position, but the bike idle rpm is not like hot engine idle rpm (There is no Cold Starting Issue!!). Everything is right, e.g. tyre pressure 29(F) & 33(R), no leaks (I checked today), Both brakes are just Fine. Clutch is appropriately tightened. Even Gears are shifted easily. Motul 15w50 300v Factory Line 100% Synthetic (Engine Oil) is only 3000 km old. Everything seems to be okay to my belief.
I don't know what is happened to my lovely bike. Can anybody please help me!!
          Regards
          Saikat

            Hi
I am sorry for the accident that you went into. Hope you are doing fine.

As far as the bike is concerned you have a paid an amount to the SVC guys at keshtopur.
Please drop a mail or visit the shop asap as this accident might have played haywire with the symmetry of ur bike's chasis as well. Please get it checked too and if required get it changed.
Though it feels as if you should get your carb, carb hose, air filter and box primarily checked again and all other parts of the bike keenly observed and checked by a trained mech at the SVC only.

If you have changed the cylinder block then you should have opted for a better running in procedure of keeping the speed band within rpm range. Either ways Yamaha workshop should offer a viable solution.
            Ride safe.

^^ Chassis Damage or Fork damage is also what I suspect. Get them checked.

As far as my knowledge, except for Toyota Altis, there is no proper brand that makes LED headlamps. What we motorcyclists get are overpriced non-guarantee stuff made in China. LED headlamps which are currently available in the market are 15W in low beam and 20W in high beam.its pretty bright and pretty expensive as well. What are you looking for? More luminosity or low wattage or just white light?

Devils_friend is talking about the headlamp and not pilot lamps/DRLs.

I am looking for a light whose spread can be seen on the road and not for namesake. Currently using spare bulb of my car, which is effective but not that much.

Sorry, there is no other option than a projector with an HID bulb which would evenly spread out the beam. I have been using projectors on my Fazer and the result is awesome on really dark highways. The stock reflectors of the Fazer are next to worthless even when using better bulbs. I am ordering a pair of Morimotos directly from their distributor.PM me if you are interested in a group purchase.

You can install auxiliary lamps. But how to power them is the main problem. Our stock battery can't handle the extra load.

You mean the fog lamps kind of thing?? If so, the public isn't so friendly that it will stay on the bike for long and even the police will have bright glow in their face when they see such lights on the bike (if you know what i mean).
