Yes, there are many led type auxiliary lamps available. Search google for clarity. I have seen many members here who use such lights.

Well, the problem about people causing damage is serious issue.

Else i don't know any other way apart from Projector+HID, as you are already using 55/60w bulb.

    Ride safe and have fun.

My fz is getting switched off at 1st gear frequently, when I check with my mechanic he said it time to change the carburetor.
I crossed 40k km... Any advice?

Check carb, fuel lines, clutch plate and clutch settings. Ask the service centre/mechanic on what basis is he suggesting to replace carb at 40k kms?

Check the choke lever. Someone may have pulled it a little.

Hey buddy, mine clocked 22k, even I have this issue that when in 1st gear/releasing the throttle it gets off.. Also when trying to pull in 2nd say in a speed breaker, it dies to to pull and gets off at times.. it feels like the bike does not have enough fuel kind of even when I have full tank of fuel..

Give this a try of adjusting your air/fuel mixture and increasing the idling to the extent just before it hits 1.5k RPM.. This seems to be working better for me now.. But better to get it checked with Service ppl once.. Also pls keep me updated on this..

Exactly me too having same issue, I already increased my idling but when at signal it goes to 2k to 3k automatically.

I will get my fz to service over the weekend and will update you on this.

Guys.. Please help me for choosing once from the below listed..
My bike is now 22k kms old.. I now started to feel FZ is bit low on power (I will be the last person in the line of bikes in usual Bike Rides I do) because of the new bikes line up, I feel FZ falls just behind them.. But anything else FZ is still the best in class.. So though to get a bit modification done.. I went to Race Concepts - Bangalore, had a chat with Vikram there.. Joel was bit busy, in fact everyone as they have a race in coimbatore tomorrow..

My budget is 15k (for entire mod, even if its stage by stage)
Vikram gave me an option of going with the mod stage by stage (eachstage in 3-6 months time).. This is so tempting but I cant afford.. Here is what he had to tell me.. Get the Big Bore, Camshafts, ECU kind of kit(CDI) - I forgot the name), bigger carb.. This is stage one.. This will give me a boost in power gain of about 2-3BHP.. Next is with the FFE and air filter.. Third is with the Clutch Springs and couple of others.. This I would love to go with but I cant afford that much at least for an year from now.. So here is what I am thinking about..

1 - Get the stage 1 done and forget about other stages..
2 - Fit the Bike with FFE and air filter(Stock Replacement/Others with upjetting)..

All I now need is to get a better initial pick up and reach the Red Line bit quicker.. Yes Top End I guess it will be improved even with the 2nd option(A bit though.. Mine already does 120)..

Please suggest me which is better to go with.. I actually thought of changing the Bike, but then again I can not do it now.. But might think of this in an year or 2.. So thinking if the Option 1 would make the bike to sell for lesser price..

                Thanks in advance..

I dont think if its good idea to increase idling to 2k-3k RPM as it consumes more fuel and also heats up engine faster which is bad in stop and go traffic.. If possible I am thinking to give my bike to service people asking them to dismantle the engine and check if everything is fine or if something needs to be replaced.. I feel like even some of the service people are not sure about what the problem is.. This issue I have for the past two services.. It might cost some bucks for ripping the engine but still feels like worth doing it before anything goes wrong big..

Eventhough I have my idling at 1.5k it automatically touches 2-3k while stopping at signals [emoji52]

Avoid using Racing Concept kits at all costs. Save money and buy a higher CC bike.

The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

Just keep it till the chat with Vikram. I would suggest you not to get such things fitted as my friend had an extremely harrowing time with the BB kit from Race Concepts. Engine was blown. Or you can keep it till the FFE and air filter at the most, which will result in more sound and not any power at all. It will just give you "poser power".
Better gather some more gandhis and get a bigger bike. Always remember, there is no replacement for displacement (cc)

Seems to be a kaput Spark Plug. Check Spark Plug and Spark Plug cap condition, change if required. Also, check for clogged Air Filter. Hope bike isn't running on lean mixture.

Few days back, i did oil change at home and accidentally over torqued the drain bolt and this damaged the threads on the engine drain hole.
The svc guys said they can't do anything about it, so took the bike to a mechanic recommended by a svc mechanic. He took about 10-15mins to make new threads and installed a bigger bolt. Its all good now.

Lesson learned, never over tight the bolt as the engine metal is prone to such damage.

I did kind of a similar mistake by misplacing the bolt on the air vent on 200D radiator. Ended up with wearing out the thread on the radiator and the coolant was leaking nastily despite the bolt in place. SVC guys somehow managed to remove the ever spinning bolt. But I had to take my motorcycle to a nearby lathe workshop to bore a bigger dia bolt thread on the radiator and to my luck everything was back to normal.

Same lesson learnt, not to over tighten and/or screw any bolt harder

I had similar issue with my splendor. In emergency, you can use a spare cloth around the bolt and fix it. Next time when you get free, take it to a lathe shop and get a bigger bolt drilled. Saves lot of time and prevents urgency. Would also mention, the cloth jugaad was so tight that I ran some thousand kilometers on the it.
